So @ Blizzard- Be honest and transparent with your customers - Is Xmog next?

It not be so bad (well it is but anyway) if they actually did this right.

But…they didn’t even go back to remesh mogs for panda and then KT. which is why for the 2 larger races you see the tell tale signs of improper mesh. Stretching and fading.

Why in BGS games if you threw in atomic body mod…you need atomic meshed armour mods. Stocked mesh armor on atomic body scale? hahahahahahahaha.

so if they go back puritanize the mogs they will cut corners. Big time. And it be big boss derived. Not blaming the graphic artists. I sense they’d do this properly. Properly takes time and money.

But to make this change and make it right its going back to touch that up with remesh and retex time.

But they didn’t do this on a whole new body release (KT) beyond their heritage made for them. so to save costs this will be insult to injury.

Or maybe they will prove me wrong and remesh and retex to be more modern. I could be happily wrong there.

I think this is fair play. They toned down Sylvanas as well ever since Legion. If I remember correctly the daughters of some developers asked them why these women fight in bath suits and this made them uncomfortable to answer.

The only people being toxic here is blizzard themself towards the community. Hard to understand for them but that is where we are at. I would not count out transmog getting changed … like the oldschool “s-mogs”…

I mean, it’s pretty obvious they’re in 150% damage control mode after the lawsuit.

Anything that could even slightly show “frat boy culture” is leaving

They aren’t going to say they are removing Xmogs because they know that would cost them ALOT of subscriptions and right now they need the filthy lucre

You guys say “transmog” but transmog isn’t going to get removed, some pieces might get modified

To be honest, I want Blizz to do something about it, not because I have anything against it, I don’t care what you guys wear I don’t look at you anyways, I just want to see the threads that would come

Looks like Blizzard addressed this, way to go blizzard good on you.

They can’t have transparency this would scare too many gamers away! Best to obfuscate so gamers don’t feel punched down on.

“We also want players to be able to express themselves through their characters, so we don’t intend to change existing player looks or cosmetics. Instead, we want to ensure that we’re offering a wide range of options for players to represent themselves.”

This was in their statement.

Not really for the censorship, but honestly there are a quite a few pieces of armor that look really cool on males, but are then skimpified on women characters, and it’s honestly frustrating. It’ll be a full shirt on a guy, and then suddenly a tube top on a female.

I would love for their to ATLEAST be an option for the females to use the male versions.

Blizzard doesn’t even communicate actually important things like gameplay or design, why would they talk about minor stuff that has no impact on gameplay?

I doubt it. It’s not woke to associate/blame clothing on behavior. People are allowed to be scantily clad and it doesn’t mean they’re inviting you to grope them. The woke philosophy is people should be able to walk around naked and not be ‘asking for it.’

Or you could have bothered to read the blue post about it.
