You mean the two whole chapters we get dealing with it? The remaining chapters deal with the Drust.
Still not seeing the connection you’re so desperately trying to make

::He would gently hold Micah’s hand.::
An eternally night zone in strictly a forest (except where the Drust have killed and corrupted the forest) with STARS FALLING OUT OF TREES and one tirna for every night elven world tree that has existed, while night elf cutscenes play and the night elf themesong runs all the while, being told by a night warrior that worshipers of Elune are sent to Ardenweald. And the Mycelium Network states that he remembers Ardenweald BEFORE the Winter Queen came to it.
Micah: I don’t see how this is a night elf zone.
Yeah victim complex… Coming from the faction that past all of this thread denying every night elf thing so they can once again claim that they get nothing only to go make 2 thread on the same day talking about night elf stuff in Ardenweald and asking for more…
And no, few small quest doesn’t make up for nearly all of a zone story line being about night elf character.
Pats head Still not a night elf zone. Hate to break this horrible news to you sweetheart.
Does it have night elf vibes? Sure. But that doesnt make it a night elf zone
This doesn’t mean anything, Shadowlands wasn’t a concept when wisps were first a thing (way back in the warcraft games), and for all we know, wisps are just a temporary form dead night elves take before eventually passing on for good into the shadowlands.
We DID always know that the wild gods (and by extension loa) reincarnate after death, now we have the knowledge of where and how.
And the argument of “well these races believe an afterlife exists therefore the zones should cater to them” is stupid and misinformed, also forsaken are UNdead. Technically, their existence runs counter to the shadowlands entirely as a system.
Finally, we just got out of an expansion that was 50% troll, I’d rather not waste an entire new zone by making it entirely troll themed the expansion immediately after.
Well, at least you can admit it it. I’m proud you made it that far sweetie.
Micah: Trolls and loa being in a night elf zone make it not a night elf zone.
::He would look at gnomes being in the other side.::
::He would look at Forsaken being in Gilneas.::
::He would look at trolls being in Darkshore.::
::He would look at orcs being in Ashenvale.::

Not only can I get behind that point, that was what I was suggesting. Instead of getting upset at players pointing out it feels nelfy, we should direct displeasure to Blizzard for their writing being stuck on a narrow view of nature and having expansion after expansion hammer a very narrow, repetitive view of society as the default. And I very much doubt I’m alone here. This stifling view contributes to the utter rot that has been nelf writing in WoW, so I think nelf players should really, ultimately, be on board with this.
Don’t bother. Denying everything they get is their way to push their victim agenda so they can rightfully complain about horde bias and rightfully ask to get more than everyone else.
I mean most of them pass all of this thread saying that Ardenweald isn’t night elf content and that Ysera isn’t night elf content only to go make 2 thread the same day about night elf Ardenweald story with people saying that Ysera being back is good for the night elf…
When some of them finally admit that Ardenweals have more night elf content, it usually came in like that ‘’ yeah we have more so what??? That thread is silly???’’.
That with the fact that they even flagged this thread.
Yeah, I saw a couple of those posts too. One of them is even from a regular in this very thread.
Does Ardenweald have more Night Elf references than Troll? Maybe, more than Tauren? Definitely. Is Ardenweald a Night Elf zone? No.
It would be more accurate to say that Ardenweald and Night Elves as a race are both very heavily nature themed, as opposed to this claim that Ardenweald is a Night Elf zone.
I agree they could have shown more troll and tauren references in the zone, particularly when leveling, but it’s also hard to deny that the Night Elves have far more connections with the theme of Nature and Life itself than the Tauren and especially Trolls.
At least you get it
This argument falls flat because the zone is made and crafted for night elves. There are no deserts for the desert wild gods, no jungles for the jungle wild gods, no lakes, rivers, or seas for the aquatic wild gods.
The entire zone is hand crafted for night elves, save for where the Drust have arrived and started literally killing the zone.
Few of them are regular in this thread. In fact the story forum have been take over a few night elf poster since more than a year. I still remember how many time it take for the forsaken fan to be able to complain about their state without being attacked by night elf player telling them that Undercity was their fault. They couldn’t manage on thread between the big amount of night elf complain thread.
Your argument only makes sense if you think Night Elves have a monopoly on trees and forests. It’s a single zone, one out of five major zones in an expansion, it’s not really feasible to split it up into 5 or more different mini biomes, and I feel it would’ve been detrimental to the overall feel of the zone as a whole.
I mean.
What other player race is so heavily defined by forests?
Then I refer to my first post in this thread; that’s on Blizzard for making Night Elves the only “forest” race, not that Ardenweald is designed AS a Night Elf zone.
I mean they even used a music that ever only happen in night elf zone for the Ysera escort… Kind of tell a lot about how the dev feel about it.
The biggest counter argument was ‘’ tree doesn’t mean night elf!!!’'which is silly because after the amount of zone with tree that people never associated with night elf, the fact that people associate Ardenweald tree with them kind of tell the resemblance between them compare to other zone with tree.
Oh i see…
Blizzard intentionally made night elves the only forest race and then made a permanent night forest with STARS FALLING OUT OF TREES.
And the umpteen other points I made earlier:
