Strath is being 3 pulled.
SP is still being cleared by mages and paladins
SL is doing 3 mage pulls.
Scholo is basically exactly the same
The only dungeons you removed boosting from are Stock, SM and Mara. However with the change you just made it a nightmare to run these normally. The way you have the xp cut for grey mobs is a nightmare for large dungeons like BRD, Uldaman, SM wings etc…
I think its time to roll back the patch and change up how you go about this. Take the L and go about this a different way.
If the grey mob xp nerf stays in on WOTLK, people are going to lose their minds when they cant run with a buddy 4-5 levels higher than them because no XP.
You say you make these changes for the community, however it seems they are soley for the purpose of getting more 70 boost sales in WOTLK.
Gold on all the servers is so inflated, removing farms just pulls the ladder away from regular players to never catch up to the people who got to use these farms for years and makes their gold worth even more.
In dungeons just make it so XP and drops are tied to bosses and make it so trash mobs give no XP. This is what FFXIV did and it works splendidly.

No matter what blizzard do and the clowns here crying about boosting. THEY WILL ALWAYS FIND A WAY TO BEAT THE SYSTEM get this through your thick head. You can only slow them down but you can’t stop them entirely from making gold.

No, what I am saying is they should remove xp and loot from mobs entirely, and move it all onto bosses.
This way normal groups clearing the dungeons get their xp and loot while simultaneously stopping Boosting without effecting core game mechanics.

I dont know what kind of groups this forum seems to get, but i’ve literally had maybe 2 pub groups in the entirety of TBC not clear the dungeon and disband.
Its better than being level 26 in SFK even though the last boss is still yellow and making it so people get 5xp and gutting any type of kiting/slows in the game essentially destroying core game mechanics and specs.
I swear the people defending this are like the bottom tier bracket of players upset they cant get into SWP or BT/Hyjal groups, have no one they play with on a daily basis and this “change” is going to be some magic fix so they can get into the stuff they currently cant.
Breaking core game mechanics to stop gold inflation 4 years late doesn’t do anything but hurt the average player at this point and decrease the overall quality of the game.

and while they’re reverting the changes they should add RDF/LFD back in so the LFG channel doesn’t become unusable due to WTS boost spam like it was before.

You are aware the dungeons level ranging for quests make some of the mobs grey for the dungeon right? Examples like BRD, Uldaman, Maraudon, SM wings etc…

Paladins may still farm Strat but how can they boost if the mobs are grey?

Yes it was. Either you went to the dungeon early and the end boss was really hard, or you went late and the early mobs we’re grey.
Also Mara and BRD have quests made exactly to skip some of the dungeon, showing it was designed to not be run in one go.

Shadowfang Keep - hitting level 26 makes the first half of the dungeon grey and your party gets no XP even though last boss is literally level 26.
Uldaman - Has mobs literally from 35-47. Last boss is level 47. Front Half of the dungeon is 35-40, back half is 40-45.
BRD - Front half is 50s, back half is 55s. last boss is 58.
Maraudon - Princess is 48 and back mobs are 46-48. Front half is pre waterfall is 42.

Last night I ran an alt through RFC, mob XP went from 90 to 15 when one player leveled up, nobody cared we finished it and still gained most of a level from the quests alone. It would be the same thing for WC or ZF or Uldaman or Gnomer.
So many high XP quests, the faster run with high lvl buddies might be better XP per hour even if some mobs give no XP.
It would take exponentially longer for one.
SP first boss would take forever with healing ward not to mention the HP pool.

Stockades you kill 2 bosses, however who cares its stockades. It literally sells for 5g/run and you make less running these then going and getting 4 primals in the same amount of time on 5 lockouts
Scarlet you kill 1 boss in armory and 1 boss combo in Cath. Who cares its SM and sells for 10g/run.
Breaking core game mechanics in the name of the “community” 4 years after boosting has been going on, and solo farms does nothing but hurt the normal player. The people who already sold boosts and have gold cap characters literally just had the value of the gold people seem to hate so muchs value increased massively while making it so normal players cant ever catch up on top of the fact normal grouping and people doing dungeons the traditional way a massive un-needed headache.
I could care less if boosting is removed. I don’t sell boosts. I’ve made most of my money of GDKPS and my 16 profession alts pumping cloths, pots, flasks, BoE epics etc…
I do care about the quality of the game from a mechanical standpoint being lowered under the guise of the “community” when if they really cared they would have done it 4 years ago in classic as soon as it started.
If you don’t think this is a final big hoorah to cash grab WOTLK passes for boosts your insane.
