So... about those transmog restrictions (Holiday/Artifact)

I have 2 weapon-related cosmetic requests:

  1. Allow all 1h weapons to sheathe on the back. I won’t use most 1h weapons because I hate it when they sheathe on the waist.

  2. For those specs that have unfortuantely had weapon restrictions added in various xpacs, please allow us to xmog to any weapon type we could previously use - 2h enhance, 2h frost, SMF fury, 2h WW, dw BM monk, dw unholy/blood DK, etc.

I desperately want to xmog a 2h weapon as a frost DK. I cannot stand dw on a DK in any spec and that’s especially true for frost. I always pictured a glacier = slow/hard hits = 2h weapon.

EDIT: 3. Allow us to xmog silly items like fish, rolling pins, etc. This is a game, one with cartoony graphics, and doing something silly like xmogging a fish can be good for a laugh (which is great when doing something that should be entertainment such as a video game).

It’s fun to use along with Vindicators Armor Polish Kit.

I thought we could already mog that fish?

During Valentine’s Day I got that sweet forsaken gas mask. I was hoping I could transmog it on my undead to design a royal apothecary theme. Turns out it’s not transmoggable at all. Even for its own holiday you couldn’t transmog it! Was super heart breaking because it looks amazing.

I want to look like a blight spreading maniac! If Blizzard allows the holiday restriction to be removed I hope they add this gas mask to the list. I’m just trying to do my part to spread the love … and blight…

If there is a fish that can be xmogged I’m not aware of it. Several that aren’t xmoggable to my knowledge are Dark Herring, Rockhide Strongfish, and Steelscale Crushfish. If there’s one that I’m missing that can be xmogged, please let me know.

Cookie’s Tenderizer (rolling pin model) is still not transmoggable either.

Check out my character. :stuck_out_tongue:

Very nice!

Hidden chests will be great. I’m just surprised it’s happening before hideable gloves and bracers.

All I want is to be able to mog the flower crown year long on my druid.

Other things are nice but I want my flower crown man.

Same ugh. I also don’t see the issue with Valentine’s

I’d be down for a free-for-all on the transmog. I’d love to mix in some cloth armor in my main’s mog, as well as use a 2H sword. Attacks have set animations anyway, the only thing weapon type affects is auto-attack animation.

Yes, the ones I’m wearing should be transmoggable year 'round - not just two weeks out of the year during the Anniversary celebration.

Lift all of the holiday transmog restrictions, please.

Luckily, FFXIV lets me glamour/mog holiday stuff and sunglasses all year long if I wish, so guess which game I’m actually playing for my dress-up fun? (For those wondering, I’m currently watching Siren on Hulu, so am browsing forums at the same time until it’s over.)

The irony of a tauren in the argus gear talking about looking ridiculous is palpable. Heck people looking ridiculous was how the game used to be before transmog was even a thing. Not all of the restrictions gotta go but a bunch of them have to at least.

I see his point. WoW as any other MMO is a themed game, and WoW already have a lots of themes: barbarian orc, technological gnome, savage troll, european medieval human, wild night elfs, and so on.
The point it’s that WoW have already their specifics themes, and have a wide offert as i said before.
Also WoW universe was created, promotionated, and selled as a game with an specific pack of themes. Because of that the game have an specific atmosphere. If during the whole year we are going to see orcs warriors dressed like santa claus, that atmosphere will be ruined, and the theme of the game will be undermined.
Of course, Blizzard will keep doing expansions with content related to WoW themes, but a big part of the atmosphere of WoW universe will be undermined. Of course, this will happen if a percent of several players start to dress like Santa Claus the whole year or something like that. So, the question i think will be if those restrictions were removed, the most of the player base will make a “circus” of WoW?

I find it quite a bit of fun chasing my friends as a sparkly streaking dwarf.

There are other, lower level, fish clubs which we can’t mog to.

I agree with the sunglasses! I am so sad I can’t wear my sunglasses! I love them!

I prefer sticking to transmogs that are appropriate to the story i’m playing.

For that reason I have a very imaginative interpretation of the stories in WoW.

I’ve never been a fan of streakers, but why should we insist they couldn’t exist in the Warcraft-verse? If I see them I look away just as I would in real life.

  • Which reminds me of a busy day in Collins Street, Melbourne, and area full shop fronts which are almost entirely window. A streaker raced, screaming, down the footpath, loudly announcing to all he had a problem with the functioning of an intimate area. The shoppers were appropriately shocked, gasping in horror, and all peering carefully at the highly reflective store windows.
