Seems like the issue will resolve itself with same faction bgs. Alliance AV queue times are now atrocious because the horde is not queueing AV as there are better options. Premades will stop or decline steeply since AV queues are over an hour for alliance.
Or maybe thank the idiots who were on the forums openly mocking and gloating people because they thought this discord thing was invincible. They literally caused this because they made a big scene and were laughing at blizzard and the horde while saying there was absolutely nothing they could do because discord was 3rd party.
I warned those idiots that something would happen if they were gonna be acting like that and WOW. There actions LITERALLY ruined alliance AV queue. Play stupid games win stupid rewards. This isnt a blizzard or horde fault, it is literally alliance being stupid.
But some people dont seem to understand what happened. You see when you start funneling everyone into 1 bg it slowly increases the queue times. When you organize these people in 1 place you alter it even more. When you gloat and mock people about your advantage they go away from the BG. So now here we are not even 3 days later and youve given yourself 15+ minute queues. But this is blizzards fault right?
Psychological projection is a defense mechanism in which the ego defends itself against unconscious impulses or qualities (both positive and negative) by denying their existence in themselves and attributing them to others.
If it’s like the previous AV premading than it’s probably not even close to a guaranteed win since it’s still just a group of randoms and Horde willingness to turtle is a huge advantage regardless, so it gives the impression that Horde isn’t throwing a fit because it drops their chances of winning too low and more like they don’t want a fair chance to lose at all–they want to stomp every match ((because the queue times are so long))
So the argument that alliance queues are not affected by H v H Bgs isn’t true. It does affect it because horde just won’t queue AV. Interesting.
So they will have to go all the way with this solution or abandon it completely.
Well, the idea is akin to a bunch of people queuing at the same time, and then sorting out into discord channels based on what game they get into. They can’t see the game # ahead of time. Imo, its probably unstoppable without some serious jank added to the queue system. Its one step away from just posting a discord in your pug BG, and everybody hops into it. In this case, they are all in the discord ahead of time, so its effective in that sense. The advantage is mainly from a bunch of committed players queuing at the same time. Just produces a higher quality set of teams as the game disperses them out across 3 or 4 AV games.
