So about phase 3

What mechanics will be nerfed? And are bosses’ hp going to be reduced as well? And for how much?

Also does anyone know how much hp bosses will have in t6? I’ve been trying to look it up on google but no luck so far.

You need to be more worried about whether or not there will be enough players to even fill a raid in phase 3.

I mean yeah but that wasnt the answer I was looking for

Because the info isn’t out there yet how it’ll be handled in TBCC. Only way anyone would know is if they have access to closed alpha/beta of said raids, but that doesn’t even entirely mean said values would be finalized.

Come back during PTR.

People did t6 back in the day like are you telling me no one remembers that?

If you’re looking for original TBC, google is fully able to give you said answers. Saying that it didn’t implies you’re looking for information that is not public.

Hell, I even have my Dungeon Journal 2 book that gives full boss values/mechanics for t4-BT as well as Naxx.

I’ve tried to look it up on google but those HP values and nerfs aren’t really that easy to find. I usually check clips or videos of people killing those bosses on private servers but those values are 100% wrong because the content is overtuned.

A friend told me that archimonde had 4.5M HP in the original tbc well on this PS he had 14.5M HP so yeah…the values are wrong and overtuned as fu…

There are several things that PS would have that have been found to be inaccurate, whether by design or lack of the amount of information needed for coding so they would have to do it on their own.

This is the book I have on hand and lists, Archimonde for example, as 4,552,500 HP.

Wowiki also lists this HP pool as well as the nerfed health values.

But again, what ends up used when said bosses come out for said phases, if/when they do get nerfed to x value, is up to the TBCC devs more than what was originally used.

Yes, I was there I remember.

Lurker Below’s water damage will be cut by 66%.

Morogrim murloc nerf but that’s going in early.

Vashj won’t mind control anymore, HP nerf to Striders/Coilfang Elites, damage nerf to multishot, 90% HP nerf to toxic sporebats, Vashj’s HP down to 5 million from 6 million.

Al’ar only goes to 4 platforms, dive bomb doesn’t split damage anymore, charge doesn’t one shot anymore randomly.

Solarian’s wrath becomes a baron geddon bomb.

Kael’thas advisors’ HP cut by 50% in phase 1 and by 10% in phase 3. Weapon HP nerfed by 10%. Kael’thas’ HP down to 4.2 million from 6 million.

Hyjal Summit is real easy to remember:

Rage Winterchill 4.55 million HP.
Anetheron 4.55 million HP
Kazrogal 4.55 million HP
Azgalor 4.55 million HP
Archimonde 4.55 million HP

(I’m serious)

Black Temple

Naj’entus 3.8 million HP
Supremus 4.55 mllion HP
Shade of Akama: 960,000 HP
Teron Gorefiend: 5.0 million HP
Gurtogg Bloodboil: 5.7 million HP
Essence of Suffering: 2.3 million HP
Essence of Desire: 3.0 million HP
Essence of Anger: 3.0 million HP
Mother Shahraz: 4.55 million HP
Illidari Council: 7.15 million HP (combined)
Illidan Stormrage: 6.1 million HP

All things considered tier 6 was a strangely easy tier. The bosses have very little health compared to how much damage is going up. Even back in 2007 we wondered why Black Temple was so much easier than Serpentshrine/The Eye. Nihilum was stuck on Vashj for months then blew through Black Temple in a week. They killed Illidan in under a day of progress for world first.

The hard thing about Black Temple is not hating it because it has so much trash.

Archimonde before the fixes is a dumb RNG fight (ha ha I cursed the guy 500 yards away after he got air bursted you’re wiping now) but top guilds will kill it so quickly it doesn’t matter.

Sunwell is a lot harder. Brutallus has almost 11 million HP and a six minute enrage timer and the dps check on M’uru and Kil’jaeden is much harder than that.

I don’t know how you could remember those HP values but you’re a legend! It’s hard to find that information about these bosses for some reason.

My guild already has t5 content on farm and progressing through Vash and KT was hard but we still managed to kill them after a good amount of tries; 31 wipes on vash and 17 on KT.

We have a couple of guys in my guild that are playing tbc for the first time and it’s funny because they were worried that t6 was going to be harder than t5 when in reality it’s the opposite of that.

Maybe blizzard didnt like the difficulty curve bosses had in t5 so they decided to turn down the difficulty a little bit and make bosses more “accessible”

as far as we know for tier 6
other than maybe OG bug fixes they will come unnerfed

also yes unnerfed vashj and Kael are harder than everything T6
except wiping on hyjal
that just hurts…

Think we’ll be fine filling t6 content with the 330k people raiding on NA/EU servers

Archimonde/Illidan may be a little easier than Kael/Vashj, but I remember them being a step up from everything else, i.e. non-end bosses. I remember after they lifted attunements a lot of guilds ended up stuck at 5/6 SSC, 3/4 Eye, 4/5 Hyjal, and 8/9 BT. I expect that many of the guilds who struggled to beat Vashj/Kael will also struggle with Archimonde/Illidan.

BT is without a doubt one of the most iconic and beloved raids in the history of WoW. People will 100% flock back after this somewhat filler patch. But if you want to act like the worlds burning, for sure.

BT will be the last raid for many
SW will be tricky being the final tier
if people find it hard they will just get filtered and log out until lich king
hardcore people will clear it for a while and start selling GDKPS until a date is set for lich king

the average guild who is stucked at 8/10 now will be destroyed by sunwell and likely filtered farily quick and then they will log until liuch king like the rest

i personally dont have any attachment to sunwell , always disliked the place
might clear it and then just wait for Ulduar

See you here in a few weeks as you complain about not being able to fill raid slots.

Yeah, because there are like zero threads from people complaining about not being able to fill raids.

330k people filled just fine

The joke in og tbc was 4/5 4/9

Which proves the problem is definitely the people that post here.

So patch notes didn’t give any detail as to what was changed back then, it just said “re tuned”

Largely it was some HP nerfs, Alar now goes in a clockwise position around the room, tidewalker murlocs have a lot less health, vashj no longer mind controls. Those are the only obvious ones

We don’t know if they will implement further nerfs in p3, but I’d say it’s likely.
