One cast and hit more than 400k, why? Why a spell than can also be casted invi hit so hard, is a long cast i know but the only way u can interrup is with a cc, so he will get the cast more than u will gonna interrup if u are no a dh with a lot of micro ccs. If it hit u with 30% hp it´s gg.

I know some folks consider MM sub par for Arena and those that do play it in Arena usually dont talent into Sniper Shot.
For larger pvp settings MM does ok because like you said, it enables them to start the cast from stealth, but more so because they are 60+ yards away. If they are smart they also target who is both in combat and hurt. Friendly neighborhood warrior applys Mortal Strike, or any of the other specs that have a strong MS, then you find out a hunter is nearby. Just incase you considered being healed.
Sniper shot has no business being on the MM hunter hidden passive. It’s an extra 22% damage for no reason, and everytime they aura buff mm in pve, sniper shot gets aura buffed as well.

Sniper shot is amplified by vers, mastery, physical damage buffs such as death chakram (might be only death chakram, I don’t think anything else amps their physical damage), and lone wolf. And then the mm hunter hidden passive multiplies 22% on top of that. Removing that hidden passive interaction would result in an 18% reduction of sniper shot’s damage.

Got hit by a 910k sniper shot a few days ago… It wasn’t in arena, it was in a bg but still, I don’t think any single ability should hit like that lol.
