SMS Code not recieve

My friend is having an issue trying to log in, He has access to his email; He knows his blizzard acccount information but cannot log in because of the SMS Code wont send to him. He’s tried multipul times and nothing.

He is on a different computer than his regular setup.

Any ideas or can a staff member possibly help?

Why not use authenticator as well SMS is good but a authenticator is a more effective authenticator.

He is unable to log into the auth because when he tries it requires the code that either isn’t being sent or isn’t being recieved by his phone.

He’s probably going to need to open a ticket (or use live chat when it’s open) to contact Billing. They can usually get access restored. He might have to submit ID to prove the account belongs to him. I’m afraid this is not likely something they can fix over the forums.

I think this is a long shot, but you could also try over in the tech support forum - someone over there might know something about diagnosing SMS issues. But if there isn’t a technical problem he can fix from his end, then I’m pretty sure he needs to contact Billing.

Does he actually have an authenticator? That is, either the physical keychain device or the phone app? If he already had it set up, using the authenticator shouldn’t normally require using SMS. If he’s not already using one, I agree with Darth, it’s a good idea, but he’ll of course have to get his access sorted first before he can add one.
