Way too many. Way, way too many. DK pets slowing me for 70%? DKs with 90% slows? Perma slow vs frost mages? Rogues with 66% slow? Affliction slow with every dot refresh? This has gone way overboard.
It’s just not fun to be slowed permanently every time you’re in a fight.
Somebody run the math please, on the odds of a 5-deep gaggle of Tichondrius autists managing to somehow display the mental bandwidth and general restraint necessary to chain-cc me for half an hour straight without a single overlap or a single gcd going through.
A feat of instant thought transmission at an order of magnitude greater than anything the Borg, the Nids, or even the mindflayers of the underdark could achieve in all their myriads of psychic tethering.
Meanwhile my sorry crew have their tongues stuck to frostwalls or busy getting blasted off the flag at mid and racing to see who lands first or generally behaving like two brain cells fighting each other for third place

Im just guessing but certain things like slows need to take into account classes that can shift out of them. in this case the slow needs to be re-applied etc etc or the class that can shift out of them is in ‘god’ mode.
the downside to this is some classes are perma slowed because this form of cc is ‘balanced’ around other classes…welcome to WoW PvP.
If CC DRs could be condensed it might be better. The intricacies of removing CC maybe should remain, but if you happen to recieve applications of all the different CCs, even ones DRed total a ton of time you dont control your character and walk sloooowly. The built in solutions for some specs is also more intant mobility or having it at all. They make good FCs because they get out of range and stay out of range of CC better than others. For me as an FC, without CC applied, can walk pretty fast, low enough CD on my go fast button and disengage and pet clears snares and slows. But if I am caught two defensives Feign Death and Turtle are not available. Like Ret cant use BoP, BoS, or DS on themselves with flag. But MW can teliport with a flag and doing so at the right time can put them so far away from enemy CC range.
Yea, it’s a problem that you have a few specs that have near infinite mobility and a bunch of specs that have almost none. That said, I have rarely ever felt this on my hunter. I have had… enough tools to get where I need most of the time. Now, I have some my little pony slowly me for 70% and the DK is halfway across the screen.
The fact mages slows and roots havent been nerfed yet is insane. Everyone in beta and alpha talked about how mage is so op and yet they still didnt get any nerfs in the next reset.
Mages need to have either there damage gutted or there cc gutted.
If mages want to stay a glass cannon fine they just wont be able to cc root and slow u so much but the reward is u still pump damage.
If they want to remain the control king fine (not fine tho id rather there cc gets nerfed then their damage) but nerf the damage so they cant win so fast.
People bring specs to counter other specs all the time. No one can instantly remove cocoon.
That some people can’t use defensives at all while doing tasks required to win a bg means those specs are less likely todo well. You don’t seem to care about that.
Even as a ret paladin im telling you im feeling so contained it doesn’t feel like playing and i have so many tools to get out…im human too so…stun stun slow slow…
they need to make the flag stop all movement increasing abilities…to start… then have the stuns and slows not be able to overlap in BGS for arena this is fine and needed…
bgs have WAYYYY too much slows…they all need like 50 sec cds on slows in bgs if everyone has one.
ALSO clone and special mention the ice wall that is nearly a legal exploit…
