Need to get my sliver, if for the only reason but to educate someone from your faction that comes in to snipe an item you need. Happened to me while needing banners…
Only thing is that it’s super annoying when they hound you with angry whispers . It’s amusing the first couple of times but when they follow you around and use multiple toons to do it , it stops being funny very fast .
Had a priest do this the other day in Naz , I finally logged out.
This is hilarious, what do you mean.
I love it when this happens. It makes us want to anger them even more.
He prevented me from doing the quest by following me around and repeatedly calling out my coords in general chat . I don’t have time to waste so I logged out for a while .
Oh god I wish that happened to us.
We’ve had people who get a group to kill us, and we wipe them, and shortly after we hop to a different shard and continue doing the same thing.
Ah that’s the difference between being in a group with a healer compared to being out solo
If that happens again and you see me on hit me up and we can roll those noobs together.
This has happened to me too. Had some shaman raging in general chat about the Horde shadow priest who was killing them with a wolf pet then went into a tirade about how they were exploiting because they had a wolf pet as a priest.
- It was a disc priest
- The wolf was a hyena from inscription
They then tried on two more occasions, with a monk friend, to kill me. And failed. And then raged again in chat.
That might’ve been me. I’m inscription and always have that hyena pet out during WPvP because it deals so much single target damage. It’s amazing.
Yes love the hyena pet (and that priest was me)
Hyena is best. >:)
imagine being a scribe
Havnt tried the quest yet, once i get the sliver if i see a 110-119 leveler running around can i go full scumbag and gank him/her for a ezy kill? Or dont it count?
The one thing I don’t like about that kind of sick behaviour is it poisons the community and the looking for group. It breeds distrust and resentment, leading to people quitting the game. Not because pvp happened, but because some people prefer to abuse the trust of others(and no doubt treat people like this IRL, women and children especially)
You sir, get a gold star for not saying “inscriptionist”. Makes me cringe every time I see it typed in /2.
You’re suggesting that a person playing WoW that uses the sliver to join a group and kill their same faction members, are more likely to abuse women and children???
You’re normally a decent poster, but this is a BIG stretch…
Abuse their trust yes.
You’re entitled to your opinion, of course. But to suggest that some guy having fun with WPVP in WoW is more likely to lie, cheat, or otherwise abuse the trust of women and children in their lives strikes me as absolutely absurd. Apologies for disagreeing with your opinion, but I would definitely need to see some evidence before I started posting stuff like that.
As you do know, those betrayed by these people in game are human beings and that women and children do play this game.
Okay then…
