Almost all mechanics are exactly the same. If it was story mode, there wouldn’t be mechanics and people wouldn’t be getting tier and other mounts.
This isn’t about “accomplishing normal mode,” do you not comprehend that people can’t get into Normal groups, can’t make their own, don’t have time, etc? There are tons of reasons people run LFR only.
These literally have to be FULL CLEARED ON FATED. That’s not a freaking “loot pinata.”
This is a perfect example of why I don’t chase whatever limited-time “carrot” the devs try to dangle in front of us anymore and consciously choose to remain in older content that has no FOMO deadlines associated with it.
Once again, the many LFR-only players (or non-raiders entirely) in this game are out of luck unless they buy gold tokens with real money to pay for carries, and don’t think Blizzard isn’t fully aware of that. (The only reason I have the Grove Warden from WoD is because a generous friend bought me a carry as a surprise gift.)
You’re sweet but seriously I don’t know how to proceed.
I really want this mount, I love undead mounts, and I’m not sure how I’m going to get it.
I’m a BM Hunter and I’m not going to change so that will probably get me rejected from pugs. Horde-side Moon Guard is kind of dead and I don’t know if the few guilds here would recruit a BM Hunter.
Then there’s the fact I get tired so easily (side effect of radiation treatments.)
I know this is a lot of whining but I just wanted to vent. I’m going to try to get this mount but I might not make it. Would have been so much easier for me to queue for one wing every night but I get it. Blizzard can’t cater to my unique situation.
I agree. I think it sucks they are making one of the vote mounts that people were excited for limited time and behind normal. Raiders have AOTC, we didn’t need another fomo mount. It doesn’t even make sense, LFR has always counted towards raid completion achievements which was the only requirement for the slime cat.
Like I generally try to be helpful in game, unless people get too needy
I remember years ago when there was a “forums raiding team” being put together by I dont remember who, but a few of the still regulars were in it and boy that didn’t exactly go great lmao
It was when Flex was first introduced in Siege, and I thought we had like a handful of raiders + the people who never really raided before but there was only 3 people who really raided and like 12 who never did before lol
I think dark shamans was as far as they got when I was with them lol
My guild is comprised of a WrA guild, the remnants of a mg-h guild called Gold Knuckles, and a Hyjal guild called, “Don’t worry about it.”
I suggested maybe putting together some normal runs with the gang to carry members of our servers who can’t get things such as you as an act of good will towards our server communities.
We’re basically a come as you are when you can type. If you just want to hang out with us group you can do that.
They’re actually not exaggerating at all, and by your comment it sounds like you have never ran an LFR. I run lfr only until the last raid when I earn AOTC. LFR in many cases is harder than normal, especially at the beginning of a tier. Near the end it gets much easier, but that’s true for every difficulty.
The thing that makes lfr great is you don’t have to worry about getting chosen by a raid leader, you don’t have to worry about raid leading and you can get it done in chunks. Some people have many other reasons to only run LFR, there’s all kinds of people out there.
