Slice and Dice fix?

So they are tweaking sin but nothing being changed to sub was kind of hoping for dmg boost to get us back toward the top

They don’t have to bring CTTC back to implement The venomous wound and SND change.

Cttc was brought back for bad players who couldn’t handle SnD.

Cttc doesn’t affect venomous wounds at all. It just makes it easier to keep SnD up for bad players.

Each post to make further proves my point so thanks

readme.txt

Again you still can’t comprehend that cttc didn’t need to return because SnD wasn’t hard to keep up.

Reading really isn’t a strength for you.

You can think you understand why SnD needed to be dumbed down but that’s because you don’t pve.

Relax nerd, this game is easy, and rogues are easy. This very small change to Slice and Dice will barely have an impact on the perceived difficulty of assassination. Not only has it existed in the game already in the past, but outlaw has a similar perk too.

It’s time to get over it.

It’s not about keeping SnD up. It’s the fact that everytime you would have SnD’d you will instead envenom. It’s an obvious damage increase and a buff to doomblade.

I am relaxed :+1:.

The cttc change makes sin go from easy to brain dead.

Not everyone enjoys brain dead play.

Yes and instead of making the spec brain dead by brining cttc back they should have buffed it in other ways.

:man_facepalming:t3:

So go play Demon Hunter. Press your face into the keyboard, be unkillable, and do great dps.

I think it really is about the subjective nature of SnD usage, though. It is dumbing down the spec to remove an aspect of maintenance from it and Blizz could have easily buffed the numbers in a different way that required SnD to still be maintained. They chose not to.

Is it a big enough change to ruin the spec? Well, I suppose that answer will differ from person to person. Some people will view SnD as a nuisance and prefer a “set it and forget it” usage of the ability for longer fights. Some people view it as the closest thing the spec is going to get to having a layer or depth and don’t want it removed. It’s all… just like… your opinion, man.

 Anyways… back to the popcorn.

All of this could be resolved if they gave dev notes about their reasoning behind the changes.

Small indie company… They can’t afford the investment to produce that kind of quality information.

I want specs I play to not be brain dead. If I did I wouldn’t be against the cttc change.

:man_facepalming:t3:

So play sub. You can press twice the buttons for half the dps

I know it’s fun to sit around and navel gaze about the ease and/or difficulty of rogues, but it’s time to understand that World of Warcraft is no longer a game where you can expect complexity in your dps rotation. It hasn’t been for a long time. In fact, I would say any spec that still feels complicated is probably just the result of poor design, an oversight.

It is plain to see that this game is being developed and will continue to be adapted to an era of faster-paced, mobile-type gaming. This is not the game you grew up playing. Things have changed.

I play all three specs. I play whatever is performing best.

Sin is only 1.5% behind sub which means sin is better for mythic progression.

Maybe you should try not parsing greys before telling me how to play.

Yes they dumbed the game down for bad players. No one is disputing that.

The issue is when you take an already simple spec and make it so brain dead easy that anyone can play it and be successful.

Sub is parsing behind sin right now. I thought you were Mr. IHaveSoMuchCredibility?

It’s not on live. Maybe on ptr but not on live.

Please notice how sub is at the bottom of that list.
