Unlike the normal Torghast which is the mechanism for collecting soul ash, this version is all cosmetics. No reason to nerf it, it provides zero player power.
I mean I get what you’re saying, but I sincerely hope they don’t touch it. They just need to balance powers and classes better so everyone has a similar chance when adjusted for item levels.

I can’t remember which areas I got for each set of floors. I think I need to gear up some more before trying it again. Also, I’ll know to set aside at least 2 hours next time. I got some really good anima powers, too. One of my problems was that I got the power that gives your demon 100% damage buff for each floor you ascend. That one is awesome until your demon starts dying several times each floor. It loses all those stacks.

Leads to another cut-scene and 250 soul ash. Then nothing. Boy king still hanging with Sylvanas at Casa de Jailer.

Love losing my powers to your placeholder bug, almost 1h30m in there only to be completely wasted because of your incompetence with quality control
Yay my powers went into the maw never to be seen again
So basically when I got to floor 14, I had half the total powers other players would have and get smashed into oblivion

Oh oh, I can see that being a problem. Why does it give the powers back when you die but not when it does…

Well I’d love to except this one time I turned in a quest at 10:30 am on Tuesday instead of 9:30 am (The HORROR) and found out I was locked out of current content for zero reason and with zero warning
My biggest problem is getting to floor 12+ then blizz decides to do a restart or the servers just go down. Let the store floor be save points where we can leave one time and come back.

I was wrong, after logging off and logging back in, there is additional stuff from Bolvar. More cutscenes and a quest from Jaina. Awards 1250 anima, so be sure to pick up your weekly covenant quest for anima before doing this.

As a Warrior Arms/Fury/Prot Torghast is cancer taking up to much time and anima powers are to inconsistent sure you can make it through 5floors (about 1hrs worth of time) but here here is the boss of the floor 6 that’s impossible to kill. i know is only been a few weeks but class tuning should have really been taken care of in Beta. this one aspect of the game has really made me consider quitting because its not optional.

It’s only 18 floors, you’ll be fine!
It’s a problem if you want to switch classes, there’s no reason for the quest line to be gated at this point.
