Slay Monstrosities in Torghast’s Twisting Corridors

I am 99% sure a fresh 60 with quest green gear can not clear 18 floors

So either way you’re still grinding gear to attempt
Besides every thing will be less restricted when 9.1 comes out

Lol, I don’t want to hear any complaints about it until there is a significant Fury buff.

It offers a mount that you can use in the maw.

Kinda lame that it seems to be just a recolor of the Hunt mount; they could have at least made it spikier or given it a sprite effect.

You realize they become immune to CC/slows at 10 stacks right? Your not gonna be perma slowing it for long if you don’t kill it early on.

Slay the monstrosities in Torghast’s Twisting Corridors!

…but only if you no-lifed the first week of the expansion. The rest of you peons sit and wait.

Yeah, I’m guessing most specs aren’t going to be able to clear it for a good while like the Mage Tower. Would be nice to eventually have some truly skill-based instead of gear-based solo content for once if they won’t make solo rewards better.

It’s the same towers as we’ve already run, just 18 floors of them.

Oh man why you got to make me cry. :sob:

Skill based PVE content only happens in raids and dungeons, its impossible to make solo skill based content unless you take the FFXIV route-which created scenarios for every class like healers having to heal NPCs or tanks having to protect NPC healers and ds while having waves attack. WoW has never attempted such a thing and they won’t create a specific scenario for each 36 spec.

Interesting move, tying a story advancing quest to a place that takes hours to get through.

“Treasure-seekers should also note that these plunders are for you and you alone, rewards from Twisting Corridor achievements can only be earned once.”

Wait. What? I don’t understand. I have to solo it? It’s only going to apply to one of my toons and only that toon ever? I’m so confused right now.

Have to wait a week to unlock it  but still looking forward to it.

Umm… Mists of Pandaria… Training Grounds… it sucked. Let us forget I mentioned it and say your original statement is true instead.

The Proving Grounds weren’t really meant to be challenging IMO, at least not for the sake of enjoyment. They just didn’t live up to their purpose of getting players prepared for group content.

Yes, you do.

Is this a joke? I went in there at ilvl 204, I got deleted on floor 15. Regular trash mobs were hitting me for 35k. On Layer 1. Did anyone actually test this content?

I have done it in WOD and honestly it wasn’t hard at all. It was a joke…I rememer the monkeys and it was just figuring out which one to hit first second ect. After I learned patterns I got gold easy.

I’m assuming it’s going to be a thing that lasts the whole expansion, at least it better for how many mice I’m going to have to destroy to clear it.

Yea but Time-gating is content.

Memba when we could just play the game… I memba.
