Slam macro issue

slam continues to cast when using a macro consisting of
/cast slam
/stopcasting

i have to assume this is a bug because this macro worked in origional wotlk and would stop my slam casts unless they were instant from bloodthirst procs

I would guess it is latency, cannot stop a cast not yet started.

Would be better to put your /stopcasting in front of the ability you are trying to cancel into instead. Or on most of your abilities.

i think you may be confused about the purpose of the macro. if i hit the slam macro and it isn’t an instant cast from the talent proc the macro should instantly cancel it. if the proc is active it will go through. its not canceling the “casting” slam though when it should be because the /stopcasting is after the slam cast starting

I did not know about instant slam procs, but the idea should still work.

Or put the /stopcasting in front of your mount macro, that way you don’t actually cast something and waste a global.
