I thought WoD was bad but SL makes WoD look amazing. At least with WoD what little content we got was fun.
Gon’ be good.
Defending in battlegrounds is so boring it’s just standing there waiting for some 40k Paladin to roll in and stun kill you.
balls of steel
In addition, I think they made Battle for the Shore as a battleground that was meant to have no defense and people don’t like it for some reason even though it’s constant cliff jumping and action.
I agree nerf rogues.
WoD was much better because have a great story, have WORLD (not 4 mini maps from phone game). Garnison also was more fun then boring convents.
I must be the only one that actually enjoyed WoD.
I missed the first year of it due to my computer not running it, so I never really ran out of content. Lol.
I can’t tell if you’re trolling
WOD story is stupidly good (like most Hollywood), Shadowland story is stupidly bad.
Really? Fun?
As someone who just played thru it just last summer, I strongly disagree.
I went from having a grand adventure, exploring and questing thru the World, to being an administrator, sending others out into the World, creating work orders and then picking up said work orders.
What limited adventuring I was allowed was constant interrupted by the administering thru annoying, immersion-breaking pop-ups and a flashing garrison button.
The final two zones were all sectional missions, no adventuring at all.
We won’t even talk about how unfun the bonus objectives were due to how barebones and lacking in story they were.
Oh and these days:
- developing a garrison costs gold instead of making gold which is certainly not fun.
- Draenor is now full of bugs and inconsistent scaling (at least pre-patch fixed the game breaking phasing issues) which is really, really, really not fun.
Playing Warlords of Draenor wrecked the amazing WoW experience I was having so I do not agree it was fun.
There is one thing I dearly miss about WoD
and that’s
Necrotic Plague
As a 40k paladin, yeah pretty much. Defenders are almost always lowbies so strolling in and steamrolling everyone defending shrine or farm is great fun.
Nope. I loved WoD. It really needed a middle content patch, but what we got was great. Plus that was the swan song expac for hunters imho.
Hmm, an Orc that fears combat and cowers behind comrades, I believe I’ve seen everything.
Hard disagree.
- This is awful:
- I always felt that the major story arc drops off hard in multiple spots, such as parts of Gorgrond, and about 2/3rds of the way into Talador. We then go into Spires of Arak, which is GREAT, but man…does it barely have anything to do with the Iron Horde.
I leveled like…12 characters through WoD (as in, when it was current). I paid attention to the story. The starter zones are great, but it drops off fast.
I agree this expansion is horrible and I haven’t logged in because of it, just letting the rest of my sub run out 6 days left. WoD might’ve lacked content but Atleast it was fun including the pvp!. And the story was much better that’s how bad shadowlands is.
I spend all my time in bfa, legion and any other expansion now. I rarely if at all set foot in shadowlands zones, no reason to.
Don’t forget that pvp was a lil bit more decent than the zoomer meta we currently have.
