I’ll ask again: Do you have a reason? Or just whining? Because you keep saying these things, but have 0 reason for anyone to agree other than whining and screaming ableism.
It just doesn’t make sense for you to say that any disabled gamer is unable to use skyriding. It might be accurate to say that you have a particular constellation of disabilities that make skyriding hard for you, and that’s valid, and that should be addressed. But “disabled” is a pretty big tent – one that includes me – and it’s kinda squicky to hear a disabled person talking in such general terms.
Others have said this as well, but: You can earn steady flight in game with ground and water mounts. You can get everything done you need to – right now – without ever using skyriding at all. Might be a longer or stranger path, but the path is there.
Have you earned steady flight yet?
These are salient points which is why it is important that we clearly communicate why pathfinder has to go.
I can steady flight with two fingers …Dragon Flying needs more then two fingers…add in the keys I use to Steady flight are at the bottom of the keyboard…the space bar and X key…if I want to steady flight which requires more use of more keys then it puts more strain on my hands…I also have to use a mouse that is with my very small hands that causes pressure on damaged wrist and bones…my hands are size of a 6 yr old kid…very dang small…so what part of this don’t you understand now…the use of less keys while trying to mine or herb lets me keep mining or herbing…were as having to use more keys tries my hands out and causes more pain…
Loud and clear.
We hear you and as a WoW community we need to do better to help the disabled player in game and on the forums. If we can assist and help amplify our voices for feedback to see pathfinder removed once and for all. That is for the good of all and everyone benefits.
Bu the biggest beneficiaries would obvious be disabled players.
By which you mean use them as a convenient tool for arguing what you want. This is not a disability issue. Steady flight is earnable without using any form of flying mount. This is you want something and are willing to insult others or use them as tools to get your way.
There is no need to use anyone for the arguments are self evident. Which is why you are resorting to attacks of character and not sticking to thread subject.
Either you support disabled WoW players or you do not. I support the disabled WoW gamers 100% and if pathfinder removal would make their gaming improved, better, happier or full of contentment then so be it.
We are positive WoW gamers and we circle the wagons to help each other. For all the talk of Wow community being toxic this is our chance to show we can be a positive force multiplier.
Amen.
I support disabled folks. You support using them as tools for something you want instead. That’s the issue. You refuse to act like an adult and say “I don’t want to put in a modicum of effort to finish pathfinder” and resort to claiming it’s punitive to disabled folks that they have the same requirements as everyone else.
Not for me it doesn’t. (Ok, fine, being technical, I sometimes hit the RMB with 2 fingers at once, so it’s sometimes 3).
I do not remember that far back but I believe you because a lot of players during beta bring up these issues which is the best time to do so.
That is true and valid for you. Speak for you. Don’t speak for me. Advocate for you. Don’t advocate for me. If you can use a ground mount, you can get the achievement. But I agree with you that more needs to be done with accessibility and that pathfinder is unnecessary.
But speak for you.
They are allowed to provide feedback just like anyone else can.
Which is why this thread has been very productive so far. Which I think makes sense to remove pf to really help out the disabled players the most as the original poster made their point at the top of the thread.
Thank you for your time.
dude you’re just trolling at this point. No one cares anymore, its time to move on.
That is an eloquent point which is why we are continuing this dialogue because it is imperative that we find answers to the questions we seek indeed.
This repy reeks of lonely and miserable, with a slight but strong hint of cheeto dust
As positive WoW gamers we need to understand that the topic is about those unable to use DR and the gating of TBC normal flying behind PF is not acceptable.
We need to help each other and have PF removed. Everyone wins when that happens.
Actually the topic of this thread was OP claiming they’re unable to do PF, which is false.
I do like those sun chips to be honest. But for real though pathfinder acts as a gate toward disabled players when BlizZard is all about helping everyone have fun in game.
Aaaand back to using the R word, so much for positivity and speaking for the disabled.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and insights. Let me add that you have gone above and beyond what is necessary for the devs to read this as positive feedback. The removal of PF would be a positive development for the game indeed.
