Skyriding is too hard for disabled gamers

No, people view your claims that Blizzard is ableist and flexing on disabled folks and punishing disabled folks as you claiming Blizzard is ableist. If you stopped acting like there’s some grand conspiracy ongoing and throwing out insults you might get further.

This is all true which is why players must be able to choose.

But it wasn’t. At least not for me. There was no steady flying on Day 1, I had to set my goal to obtain it asap so I could play TWW at all. Perhaps your game was different and you were able to steady fly from the beginning. For me there was a Pathfinder that had to be accomplished first.

They’re simply explaining that for this expansion Pathfinder is only completing the campaign, and you can do that in 1 day of playing, thus making it attainable on day 1.

Indeed you explained yourself with great eloquence and I can see your view point.

And that pathfinder was to complete most of the leveling campaign, and explore the zones. That’s doable in under a day.

Yes I came to the same conclusion as well. Truthfully this is why one thread to keep it all together is more than satisfactory.

You can do it under a day if you just focus campaign.

Bet it sure was doable. Using skyriding. The feature under scrutiny for being inaccessible for disabled individuals. But that’s okay, they can plummet to the bottom of the coreway on their ground mounts.

Doesn’t matter if skyriding is “under scrutiny” because you dislike it, the leveling campaign was a few hours. You can double that time, double it again, and still comfortably do it in a day if you put in some effort. And the coreway is accessible grounded.

Because they have physical disabilities, but that’s more of a skill issue, right?

Just want to clarify that I was not born with nerve damage. I was perfectly capable of using both my hands all my life - until I wasn’t. It happened suddenly and unexpectedly; I did not know when I got up that morning that I would have this happen to me. Some others reading this are going to have things happen to them, too. Statistically they just will. And then they will understand why disabled people are asking that Pathfinder be removed.

Sometimes you are born with your disability, sometimes life hands you your disability at a later date. It all sucks.

It’s not under scrutiny because people have disabilities, it’s being whined about because there are folks using individuals with disabilities as a tool to advance their own self-interest. If you want steady flight, it takes under a day, no skyriding needed. If you want to troll, do so elsewhere.

It’s under scrutiny because people have disabilities. That’s what started this entire thread. Maybe you would know that if you actually read posts instead of being deliberately inflammatory.

Like I said in the other thread, it’s hard to take anything you post seriously.

The OP is either misinformed, or willfully lying by claiming it’s impossible to get steady flight without skyriding. That’s the topic. A few of the typical trolls calling it ableism when they don’t get what they want popped up, lied, the usual. At no point is this an ableism problem, it wasn’t ableism for 18 years that steady flight had to be unlocked. Ground mounts are available for everyone who wants it, steady flight is available for everyone who wants it who unlocks the achievement. If you’d rather pretend otherwise that’s your own issue.

Because there wasn’t a built in mini-game with those modes of transport.

You’re wrong.

Also lmao @ you gaslighting a disabled individual about their disability. You actually have no shame

There’s still no built-in minigame with ground transport and steady flight. Go get it if you want it, or don’t get it if you don’t want it. This is a self-inflicted issue.

Yeah, just go get steady flight. By unlocking pathfinder. Oh look we made it full circle. Wanna go on the ride again?

Not particularly, but maybe if you read through it a few times you’ll figure out the lack of issue here. Steady flight, as in every single expansion, is unlocked. The unlock requirement this time is to play the game. No issue in sight, put in the work if you want it. If you choose not to put in that minimal amount of work, then accept the choice you made.

This is the issue here. Regardless of what you want to make it. Skyriding and Steady flying SHOULD be baseline. There is no reason to gate steady flying. Unless you can come up with something other than keeping the devs boots really clean.
