I’d like the devs to add a “dead horse” mount that is skyriding enabled, but doesn’t work with static flight.

All I’m reading is that you are skill less and suck at flying unless it’s steady flight aka bad ugly easy mode flying for noobs.
The system is, of course, not clunky at all. If you play right you’ll never get stuck or run out of vigor. I’ve never been forced to land or had anything but top speed greatness.
So yeah to sum it up… You are the problem. Learn to play/ fly.
Saw title, didn’t read the rest. If you don’t like it, just always remain in static flight. Stop crapping on features other people like. That’s why blizz implemented the static flight option. Both of both worlds.

I wanna know what’s so clunky. I feel like I’m in a freaking podrace, personally, and I’m here for it. Then again, I’ve always loved racing games.
LOTRO has been plagued with rubberbanding since their mounted combat released in back in 2012. Now THAT’s clunky.
Disliking it can be a preference thing, a motion sickness thing, a reaction time thing, a hardware thing, or an ease of making short hops thing. But it definitely isn’t a clunky thing.
There’s nothing clunky about it.
Skyriding is easily one of the best features they’ve ever added to the game im kinda shocked people dont like it

Been saying this since beta. And to add, as I’ve said many times, we’ve already paid for and earned normal flying over and over through the years. Yet, skyriding comes along and they attempt to replace normal flying outright? That’s beyond unacceptable to me. Skyriding is indeed a novelty and doesn’t deserve to be the default.

Ah, you’re that person. I earned, yet again, normal flying as fast as anyone can in TWW. The point is you shouldn’t have to keep doing it. How easy it is doesn’t matter, the gating has to go, especially since they saw fit to give access to skyriding from day one.
But, as with the other post of mine you chose to troll, you’re focused on the wrong subject.

It’s flying with restrictions. And one of the biggest perks of normal flying is hovering. Skyriding forces you to land to stop flying.

Then don’t use it if you want to hover. They behave in different ways.
I think Skyriding can be fun in specific situations. But just like some ground mounts are ground only, flying mounts should be specific too.
Blizz really needs to just give us the option to permanently toggle each mount. Or make 3 full time classes of mounts. Skyriding is fine for me, its the switching that makes no sense. Just allow me to have 3 types of mounts on my action bar, and drop the “switching” spell altogether.

The only thing I can agree with you here is that if you toggle on air swimming, it should stay that way until you toggle it back off.
The rest just feels like petty complaining, with no actual substance behind it other than “I don’t like it!”
