Basically to play with friends in Skyfury you need to remote log in and make sure you get inside the game by the time you get back to work
I admit this is my fault for wanting to play with my friends and not be selfish and not start in a dead PVE west server
but they should at least say SKYFURY ( REMOTE SERVER ACCESS NOT INCLUDED)
ps I called my husband to go home and log me in during his lunch. 30 min wait still
I work from home and logged in at 2pm. Everything was fine no queue. I did the things to avoid afk disconnect. I jumped I cast spells, I fished. In a 15 minute window I went upstairs to see my family etc. Came back down and I had been randomly disconnected. I went to login, 5 hour queue.
All I wanted to do was play the game after the kids were in bed and the wife was sleeping. I tried so hard to beat the queue boss today and I freaking wiped.

Bro i queued just short of 3 pm by remoting on my way to the bathroom…i came back home my queue just finished at 8 pm.
I work in a iso 5 cleanroom, once i go inside after lunch there is almost zero chance ill see my phone again till i leave at 5-5:30…

The sad fact is WoW is my game. I freaking love it. I’m always gonna sit in these queues and complain and moan because to me this is the best game since 2004 when I started.
Let me play on retail or something while I wait for the server queue. Please!
There are no other fresh PVP servers, so we cannot “play somewhere else”.
my friend lost his mind doing the remote desktop thing. he was constantly checking his character if he was dced or not every 5-10 min or so and inbetween that time all he was thinking is if his perso was still online or not. the constant fear and stress. it legit drained him. it sucks that people have to do that to play the game. + it f the queue up and doing that is cringe. having said that. its blizzard fault

i feel bad for whoever fell for the fresh bait the server is already as progressed as the mega ones and the queues are just as long, not to mention all the gold buying going on and bots

I tried the fresh PVE server. It has far less players than Skyfury. When I logged on today at 6:00 am EST, there were 3,000 alliance players on Skyfury. I checked on Maladath, there were 900. Skyfury is three times larger which means it is much easier to get groups for dungeons.

This was going to be my solution, but you beat me to the punch.
I asked my wife to log me in while I was at work too, but she couldn’t figure it out. I coached her a moment ago to be ready for the rest of the week (foreseeable future).
So? West servers had to xfer to bene which is a East server when they died aswell, if you even care about pvp to the slightest then fresh is the biggest bait

While normally I’d say, yes it is. In this case, naw. Blizzard should have stopped and locked Skyfury when it was full to avoid this mess.
On the other side of the coin, people on Benediction and Faerlina… they DEFINATELY put themselves in that position (If they transferred there anytime since the end of Classic Vanilla).
