When starting and picking skip the Maw part of the shadowlands quest, I get ported to oribios, but I can not do anything there. No campaign or covenant quest to take, I can take the flight path, or go into the maw. This happens on every characte I have tried while selecting that option.

Same Issue.
I tried with 3 characters in different ways.
1-Accepting the start quest of shadowlands - Result: Oribos with no NPC associated to quest, but the 2 NPC that greet you normally are in the room where you choose covenants, you can talk to them but they don’t perform any action.
2-Taking the portal to ORIBOS directly - Result: Oribos empty without NPC associated to quest (In this case the NPC mentioned in 1 do not appear).
3-Trial character and taking portal to oribos directly - Result: NPC appear without problems and let me choose covenant. (Probably because these characters are 60 and have the check of having finished the shadowlands campaign).
I hope this log will help me to identify something.
Tomorrow I will try with another character not to omit the maw intro quest.

So, this happened to me, and I had a thought… I went to Chromie in the main faction city and selected the Shadowlands timeline. Instead of starting over, it directed me to the mage portals for Oribos, and the guard that normally does the intro after the Maw worked just fine!
Try talking to Chromie. She’s a good helper most of the time.

What level was the character that you talked to Chromie on? I’ve ended up with this bug on several level 70s that were boosted (my main has completed SL)
Talking to Chromie does allow me to change the timeline at lv 70.

I tried to initiate Stranger in an Even Stranger Land and Oribos is barren at LVL 80. I don’t have any of the quest givers populate. Looks like it’s an issue on Wowhead that’s been happening.

I’m having this issue as well with to characters and I have several other characters that completed the Shadowlands campaign already. With the first one I got the bug I just used the Maw Skip option and got teleported to Oribos with most npc missing and not able to accept any quest. Tried with another character and this time I selected the quest “Shadowlands: A Chilling Summons” first, then used the Maw skip and got the same bug.

Same thing just happened to me, no main npcs at all, no flight paths and cant enter the maw.

Same here. I leveled my hunter to lvl80 recently and decided to go do some SoD xmog runs. Didn’t play much during SL so this character never set foot there.
Got the intro quest in SW, picked the skip option. Got ported to Oribos and nothing works. Not even the teleport pads that send me up to the transportation ring.
Using the Wormhole Generator SL I was able to port to one of the regions and come back to Oribos, get to the ring of transportation, but:
- The flight master was not there
- The portals were not there
- Jumping down to the maw ported me back up
But strangely now 3 out of the 4 teleport pads work.

This was the exact same for me. Skipped the Maw on a level 70 fishing alt and now stuck.
I was only here for the fishing, luckily I found something cute:
The “Return To Lordaeron” quest was still available, and it counts as Shadowlands, so I did all my shadowlands fishing in Tirisfall Glades.

Throwing my hat in the ring on this. Same issue on my account. 80 DK, took the skip - TP’d to Oribos, no quest giver showed up.

I managed to open it normally by using the skip on one of my 80s, but any other is bugging and not working using the skip. It’s not consistent, at all.

Yeah I’m pretty sad about this. I really wanted to take my remix druid into Oribos so I can get the moth look. But nothing shows up. Skipped the Maw, all is bugged. sadfaceday

One was 70 [boosted], one was 52, and the other was 10, so it didn’t matter what level I was, dropping the entire questline, then resetting to the present and re-acquiring the Shadowlands timeline worked on all characters. The main part was I dropped any other quest then reset to present before I took the SL timeline again. It sent me straight to Oribos and all NPCs were present and accounted for.
A few possible solutions: delete the WTF and Cache folders, and possibly remove the Interface folder to the Desktop (that’s addons, so you will lose access temporarily). The game will be forced to cycle through the game database again as you travel, and NPCs may show up again.

Same. Have no idea how to fix it. Effectively locked out on multiple alts. This sucks that they have not acknowledged or fixed it.

Same here, skipped the Maw into questline and now I’m stuck in Oribis with no NPC’s and no flight paths, can’t even jump down into the maw in the middle, extremely annoying as I need the Simple tome of bone binding to tame undead pets on my hunter which you can only get from Maldraxxus. Please fix this.

Bump, because this is still ongoing. It just happened to me on Moonguard, level 71 (boosted), new toon. I chose to skip the Maw intro, and was sent to Oribos, only for it to be populated on the main floor (minus the faction reps), and while I can get to the transport floor, it is entirely vacant (so I cannot get to Bastion, where I was just wanting a hunter pet xD). Any solution would be lovely, as Chromie also doesn’t seem to have anything to say to me in Stormwind, either.
EDIT: To clarify, I DID complete all of the Shadowlands campaign quests (and basically everything else), on another toon.

Putting in my two cents,
I am bugged as well. Chose the skip option on level 80 druid when talking with the death knights. walked into a completely bugged oribos.
Please fix this so I can continue my 20th anniversary quest.
