So I have a question. And I am sure the elitists will troll. I have recently managed to get two characters above 1550 retro Druid and 1650 FDK thru pugging. GS on resto is 450 and dk is 469. I know its end of xpac but are those two accomplishments any good or should I stick to pave.

1550 and 1650 are great places to start. Don’t let anyone make you feel like you haven’t achieved something, because you have! At the same time though, those achievements are definitely not the pinnacle of pvp. If you are having fun in PvP, you should for sure try to keep pushing higher and improve. Everyone begins at the start line.

If it’s your first time PvP’ing don’t worry about rating. Just worry about having fun with what you’re playing. You’re doing great, buddy.

Your item level doesn’t seem to matter as much as the amount of corruption you can stack up with your cloak resistance and having the right secondary stat stacked really high.
Given that you probably don’t have either of those things, getting 1650 is good! It’s tough to fight against someone with +125 corruption resistance with gushing wounds on every piece of gear and win, so good stuff, keep going =)

Compare yourself to your past self and try to be better.
Who cares what some sweaty 15years xp guy thinks about your rating.
