There’s a cheeze where you force a reset, go back and contribute to reactivate it. Then send hunter pets down to the boss when the timer starts then pull it back to the entrance, and kill it there before the timer hits zero. It was horrible to coordinate across the factions and have to do it again for the other gem. Sigh not good game play. I thought that once we had the gem on one toon, we can buy it on alts.
You can buy the gem on the toon you got it on and send it to an alt or put it in your warband bank.

Also, when the emote happens “the cavern is on the verge of collapse”, is when the bonus objective goes away. Whatever this event is, it’s wiping out the quest that awards the gem. Get rid of this event and maybe we can finally get these gems.

Can confirm the Hunter pet strat works!
- Reset the boss so that the cave wall comes back up, then go to camp and activate the boss again. This makes it so that he’s still down there chilling in the cave while the excavation is going on.
- ANYONE with pets can grab his aggro through the excavation wall. Pull him up to the group, at least close enough for other folks with taunt to pull him through the wall.
- Keep him in the mouth of the cave by the wall. EVERYONE, even casters get right on top of him. Don’t let him charge out of the cave fully or he’ll reset again.
- Bleed him down to low, then as soon as the excavation timer ends, burn him, free gems.
Did this twice in 10 minutes, and I’m finally free.
Is it because all of there developers are playing Marvel Rivals and not fixing the bugs

Call one of the interns and have the vendor sell the 2 gems you get from this boss… I know its a weekend, but come on man.
Needs to be tanked right at the entrance, all of us just got the gem.
Blizzard please fix your bug so we can try to enjoy the patch. As it stand right now this bug is wrecking it. Please fix it soon. I have lost count on how many times I have tried to get my bis gem and can’t get it. Until I get can this final gem the ring is a dps loss of more then 15k dps loss when it is more then 20 item levels more then a basic ring it should be replacing because most of the gems are trash and can’t be used without nerfing yourself. Please fix asap.

I have done this event probably over 10 times over the course of the day with a friend swapping between Thrall/Illidan with no luck.
He swapped to a toon on alliance stormrage and the gem dropped first time no issues for his alt. He invited me to group and I got the gem first try no issues. Tanked randomly running around the cave nothing special, no tricks, charged around just fine- event never dropped. Stayed and did it a couple more times and loot dropped each time.
So if possible try and have some people from other servers invite you if they are not having an issue. :c Hope it helps someone get their gems.
4 days and it’s still bugged. Been bugged since day one. We’ve tried everything… tanking him in the bottom left corner, the bottom right corner, the top of the cave entrance… yada yada and nothing has awarded the two Circlets it hosts. So frustrating.

Just do the event reset method and be done with it.
Promises a particular gem for Cyrce’s Circlet (Stormbringer’s Runed Citrine). Gem is not awarded for completing the event even multiple times. I have done this event probably 15 + times using all kinds of suggested workarounds and still no gem. This is my BIS gem and no way to get it. It’s amazing that after 20 years Blizzard still fail at so many things. Very frustrating to play a forever broken or bugged game with no urgency from Blizzard to resolve the issue.
They just need to put all the gems on the vendors from the start, no requirements aside from the currency cost since they aren’t going to fix this issue in a timely manner.
Can confirm this event is still bugged and the objective/reward disappears midfight.
