Promises a particular gem for Cyrce’s Circlet (Stormbringer’s Runed Citrine). Gem is not awarded for completing the event even multiple times.

This, the same thing happened to me on two different toons.
On the first one I didn’t get the citrine and the reward immediately changed to the Crate of Bygone Riches.
On the second toon, no citrine either, but the reward didn’t change.

also seeing this, promises a stormbringer’s runed citrine, but once activated the icon on the map shows no reward. reward also changes to a different citrine when you’re able to contribute. hopefully theres a quick fix that comes out today.

In addition to the displayed reward being buggy for this event, the bonus objective tied to it also sometimes immediately cancels after the cave opens. This results in an announce of “The cavern is on the verge of collapse!” within seconds of pulling Stalagnarok, and the players helping only have about 2 minutes to kill him before the cave closes and ports everyone out.
When this particular bug occurs, it results in one of these two outcomes:
- Everyone is ported out and screwed out of the kill of the rare for that occurrence of the event (and anyone who contributed thinking they’d get the kill has their resources wasted)
- The rare is killed and lootable, but no bonus reward is given since the bonus objective was no longer active

Got 2 kills in and no gem reward. Even deleted the gems I had earned and still no reward. This is bugged and either displaying the wrong gem or blizzard has it locked since we already get 4 gems and they only want people unlocking 4 gems a week. Why tease us like this when the 4 gems we are getting are crap. Blizzard already had to buff the ring’s ilvl cause they realized no one would use it. Now we have to come back each week until we get the gems we need thus wasting a spot in our bags still not being used. I get wanting to keep people doing the content but really… this just like forbidden reach is worthless.

This is bugged. Not only does it randomly teleport you out of the cave when the boss is at 10% if you do happen to kill it you get nothing from it. The map is also bugged to contribute to this event. It will constantly switch from active to complete within seconds over and over.

I’ve done this on two characters now. Both got the other two gems from the other events but not the Stormbringer’s ruined citrine.

Still bugged post so-called “hotfix.”
4 tries in Shuddering Hollow with no gem granted.
The hotfix unfortunately had nothing to do with fixing the bug in question in this thread, which is Shuddering Hollow’s bonus objective expiring early and thus screwing everyone out of its rewards.
Now that the isle is getting more noise, though, this should see a fix sooner.

Here’s hoping. The fact that I was able to at least kill the dude was promising until no credit for event happens still.
The Contribution Table now list it as the reward instead of a box of items. Sooooo maybe it will get more attention that is borked.
