Siren Isle is a Big Miss

Because of both.

The core issue is that its an island expedition island, so to me they pretty much released it as such given island expeditions worked mostly like the siren island does.

I got all the little pets… is there more content on the island?

Since Korthia got brought up, I thought Korthia was magnificent. I had some friends I would run it with every day, and we did it for months and had great fun.

There was always something to do in Korthia, and it was just the right size so that you could run from event to event to event and get everything done in just under an hour, and there was never any waiting or wondering what to do next.

But the best part was that for the rewards - mounts, pets, toys, but especially the covenant transmog sets, of which there were many - you had to do things to get them. It wasn’t the boring “farm currency and buy from gear-mart” thing Blizzard does, now.

Hilariously, I blame the playerbase for this. Its just an example of listening to player feedback.

I am not saying it was my feedback, or your feedback. But people push the “I want all the rewards, doing what I want to do”. The only way that can be implemented is through a “farm currency and buy from gear mart” thing.

On Siren Isle? Man I must have missed something because I don’t recall seeing the evil arathis there. References to kil tiran’s who tried to collect treasures and died, but not the evil dudes from, say, the Priory of the Flame.

Is that who you’re referring to?

Also you can see evidence of lots of digging. Thus a miner patch. QED.

Exactly what I was going to say.

I might be getting them confused. Humans all look the same.

And a Pet Battler to battle would of been nice too…

Have*

The word you’re looking for is “Have”. “Could have”.

The .7 patches are catch up patches. They’re strictly meant for your alts to get semi-decent gear caught up so that you don’t go into to major content patch with completely trash gear.

They are NOT meant as something for your main to constantly grind out. You’re not supposed to spend more than an hour there a week.

The raid is coming in the next patch. 11.1. The major content patch. 11.0.7 is a hold over catch up patch.

It’s not meant to be meaningful content for your main. 11.0.7 is a catch up patch. It’s meant for gearing alts so that they can go into the major content patch with semi-decent gear.

Got it? Good.

It’s meant to be a catch up for alts before the next real patch. It’s not meant to be that engaging for end game players except for the ring and if you care about mogs and mounts. That said, it’s not very engaging for catching up and its also weird timing because the anniversary event was doing the job for catching up alt’s levels and gear.

And isn’t plunderstorm coming back?

They’re pushing out too much stuff, same as they did in Dragonflight. People are going to get overwhelmed and burned out and not care anymore about any of it.

Overstimulation incoming

Well, on one hand you may be right… On the other, people will just say there’s a content drought if Blizzard doesn’t.

i dont understand why they locked flying on it when it’s just a recycled bfa island expedition map. literally nothing to do on it besides kill the 3 bosses or do rares

Which is why they need to remove LFR, normal raids, normal dungeons, probably heroic dungeons, and so on.

Nobody was yelling “content drought” back when you had to do the content for real.
