If that is the case why bother with a quest or even two just give us flying FFS.
no point to get flying for siren island in my opinion. Just get your ring and gems, thats it.

An interesting idea but I guess the mechanical mounts break that idea. If it was fear related then your love rocket, mim head, even flying carpets could go from day 1
The flying on Siren Isle is time gated for 6 weeks, so once your ring is maxed out, and you have no reason at all to ever go to this island again, then you can fly. It’s like the “Leave the Storm” items they give you - once you fill the bar while in the storm, and would like to use the teleport to leave the storm, and return to the NPC area, the items all disappear from your inventory. This island is vastly weaker than the island from last expac which was already vastly weaker than Timeless Isle.

Now that you mention those items I have to bring up I can just cancel the storm aura by clicking, it takes me out of the storm right back to the hub
Right click the buff away and you will teleport out of the storm. Bad game design, but it works.
