Sira Moonwarden & becoming Forsaken

Huh, I’m sorry but first off Blood elves didn’t have paladins back then and two because of the fel they were guzzling at the time to sate their magical addiction it came into conflict with Light based Holy magic, to combat the Scourge they decided to use a Naaru that was given to them by Kael’thas to imbue regularly imbue their warriors with holy energy.

Back then Blood elves were a lot more pragmatic and willing to look into all sources of power.

Pretty sure the other guy is right about blood knights, they came into life because they lost their faith in the light and had to use their “inner” light to power themselves. Thats why Blood Elves can still be Blood Knights currently.

The reason why they still have Blood Knights currently is because of the Naaru ignited Sunwell.

Ah yes, who could forget the Butt Elves?

Huh sorry but yes they did.

“Most Blood Knights were once members of the Royal Guard. After the Third War, the vast majority of the high elves took up the name “blood elves” in honor of their slaughtered people, and in the wake of their ancient kingdom’s destruction, many of the elves of Quel’Thalas came to view the Holy Light with contempt. This led to a great number of the blood elves losing their faith, and in turn, their Light-given powers coming to believe that the Light had failed them in their homeland’s hour of greatest need. Thus, they needed to find a new way to access the Light. They did this by sapping Light energy from the captive naaru held beneath the Blood Knight headquarters.”"

Yep.

Then during the Warfront, she’s quite chatty about her reasons, and they’re nothing but petty spite.

I’m incapable of explaining my thoughts accurately so I’m just going to give up and let you win this.

Yes, but not the Last Boss villain we usually see.

Shouldn’t those dark feelings make her hate the Horde even more?

Watch out, Nathanos. Sira might take your place as Sylvanas’ number 1 fan. It’s amazing how fast she’s like that. If it was like slowly transforming and you see that through the fight, it’d be ok. But man… I’d say she was always Horde at heart and found the perfect excuse to faction change.

Here’s my problem with it: Sira feeling abandoned by Tyrande/Elune is fine, and so her not following them anymore, and even wanting to fight them for revenge, makes sense (more or less).

But regardless of how she feels about what Tyrande/Elune did or didn’t do, the actions of Sylvanas and the Horde are far worse (burning Teldrassil). So why would Sira work with them, fight for them. I just don’t see how she wouldn’t hate Sylvanas/the Horde at least as much if not more than she hates Tyrande/Elune.

That’s the part that’s bad writing, IMO.

It’s the same story as Sargares just cut down to size.

Look at it like this

She’s working with the Horde to get back at Elune, to extinguish all life. When that is done she turns her attention to Sylvanas and the Horde.

Well the forsaken have a killer dental plan.

Man, this sounds even worse!

She’s going wipe out the only faction that can stand to the Horde and then try to fight the Horde herself. She doesn’t have the infinity gauntlet!

Anyway, I won’t judge too soon, though. It’s crazy by now but it can change. I think Sylvanas is mind controlling them, though. It’s not as crazy to think. I mean, she already burned a tree full of civilians. Mind controlling the enemy faction in a war doesn’t sound like too crazy.

Firepaw… You know… The panda that hasn’t done or said a thing since Garrosh tried to have him executed…4 years ago…

The Horde resurrected her giving her that chance to get vengeance against Tyrande/Elune/Alliance.

Wait I thought he was already dead.

Oh, yea. Completely forgot he existed. So um he goes mad with power and Aya comes to slap him and they go back to the Wandering isle to get married?

At this point I’m pretty certain the throne of Warchief is utterly cursed.

Absolutely, it’s spite at Night Elves and neither care a dang thing for the Horde. They saw death and feel they are now “woke” about life and death, how there is no hope, about how Elune and the Night Elves really are, and they feel it’s necessary to teach us ignorant “unwoke” a lesson. Bonus points when they say crap like “You will suffer as I have!” to a death knight. Sira, honey, you only been undead for like, two hours

Though, since I killed them in the warfront, I wonder if they are now in the shadow lands somewhere feeling angry at Sylvanas, Nathanos, and the entire Forsaken race for abandoning them.

Coming back from Death makes you crazy. It happened to Sylvanas, before she was a genocidal maniac she was a beloved and respected Ranger-General with a secret human boy toy.

Rendered unconscious.

Otherwise we’d have murdered Turalyon, Rokhan, Muradin, Etrigg, and I forget who the other Arathi Warfront leaders are.
