True, except we all know Sylvanas is hypocritical as hell. She says that line and then immediately turns around and raises people into undeath against their will, damning them to the hell existence she hates so much.

I think Sira and Delaryn could be good – especially Delaryn, who actually has some decent foreshadowing that she’s losing it.
But it’s just been a while. Any explanation is going to feel forced. I would kind of like the banshee twist, though. Or I’d like to see some damn introspection. You can justify almost anything with enough coats of paint on it… But you have to put some paint on it instead of just throwing a doily on top and yelling “LOOK OVER THERE!”
Which is my issue. We’ve just been asked to roll with this dramatic 180 with jackall for clarification on why.

I have to agree with the comic it is like they expected elune to be their babysitter and magic that mean old horde away. Elune seems to rarely directly interefere as she is very much the more christain syle of god that dosent micro manage.

The other thing I’d like to get out of this (though that ship has probably sailed with “Tyrande’s story is over for now after Darkshore”) would be a chance to look at how modern night elves DEAL with the oddballs.
I would have loved to see night elf death knights, ghosts, the mages, and demon hunters, and compare/contrast with the newly risen. Though I understand mages are more appreciated these days.
