I have 2 characters and 1 previously acquired the helm and the squashling. My other character acquired the helm and just got the squashling. Unfortunately, my other character can’t right click and acquire the squashling because it states in red text 1/1. This character needs the achievement. How do I fix this???

Those are my favorite and then they ask you to not only rate the quality of the form letter you received but also have they solved your issue. I just shake my head that someone in Blizz thinks that is the way to run customer service.

My ticket has been open for 2 days, still no actual response, just the “check wowhead and Icy-Veins” auto response. The Horseman has been also MIA for dailies on Mankrik for the last few days. I think it’s safe to assume that everyone at Blizz is asleep.
Yep I have yet to see that daily on AshKandi as well.
The support statement is not true.
" If you obtained the Hallowed Helm or Sinister Squashling in Burning Crusade Classic, this will not be counted towards the Achievement criteria in Wrath of the Lich King Classic, to complete the Achievement criteria you will need to obtain the Hallowed Helm or Sinister Squashling again."
I did get the helm & pet on the same toon 10-2023, but because I received the pet on another toon, the Achievement is not complete.

Yeah experiencing the same issue, found squashling on another toon, got both squashling and helm today on my main, cant complete ach due to squashling already in pet book despite being in my inventory

We need to get a blue response on this. This is broken because of them linking the pets and mounts. They are preventing people from finishing the What a Long, Strange Trip its been.

This is not true. It is the pet journal that is causing the bug. I just received the helm and pet in the same loot bag and only received credit for the helm. With the way they worded the code you have to learn the pet to get the achievement. With pets being shared you can not learn it.

That is what I don’t understand. How embarrassing that a huge company like that sends them to IV or WH for resolution. Someone has a job that thinks that is what they should be doing? I am embarrassed for them.
Same problem can’t learn a pet you already know thus no achievement. Ticket opened with canned response absolutely not helpful.

What was the response? This is clearly a bug if you can’t get the pet on a character because you have it on another character. I’ve run the HH on different alts for the rings but then I get the pet on a character I don’t care about the achievements on, so now that’s going to just screw me over on my main? They need to fix this.
I remember back in the day just getting loads of those pets on characters that already had it, like what is the problem here?
We really need to push this up and make sure this gets patched. Working towards finishing a year long achievement and being stopped all because of a bug is very not fun.

Not gonna lie, I thought this was a joke at first, so I decided to go through my characters to see who didn’t have it, and lo and behold, one doesn’t, but has the squashling in their inventory. Now I don’t particularly care about said character, but that doesn’t mean that the issue doesn’t need to be fixed, either make it like the helm where you simply need to loot it, or better yet, just have it check pets, maybe summon it to make it work, something.
