Single player game like WoW

There any games for the PC that are single player and play like WoW? When I say play like WoW, I mean it has very fluid combat with tab targeting, CC, DoTs, DD, etc and your choice of class, race, appearance, and customizations. No online connection required to play.

I mean, do these kinds of games exist?

Not off hand. Closest I can think of is Valheim but there isn’t much in terms of customizations.

Guild Wars 1 might be up your alley

Maybe I’ll just work on Loremaster with a new character instead.

AC: Odyssey and GoW are relatively similar. In fact, I’d say the combat is much more fluid. They don’t have caster specs, though.

I’d definitely say, Odyssey is the best “hunter” I’ve ever played. That’s super fun.

Kingdoms of Amaleur is a single player MMO. Not sure if you can still get your hands on it due to legal drama.

is guild wars 1 offline??

Sorry not trying to sound dense btw. I literally know 0 about the guild wars series but was always curious

I know you can play through the entire game solo, as the game will provide you with AI allies to tank/heal/dps as needed (you even get to customize their class/talents later on as well)

But I legit can’t remember if there is an entirely offline mode now lol, I think the main lobby of the game is pretty much the only place you’ll see players and not many of them

But I thiiiiink, there is an offline option

tab target combat is a very very very MMO thing.

Best Single player games (in my opinion) are the Dragon Age, or Mass Effect games, the Witcher games are very good too.

I would say dragon age. I forget the name of the most recent one.

I liked Diablo 3. Different style but fun. Diablo 1 was my absolute favorite though.

No but it would be a fun thing to have a standalone Warcraft game with maybe a side story or something or some of the book lore turned into a game.

Minecraft. It’s a sandbox game, so it’s whatever you want it to be.

If you want something a bit different, they original Gold Box DragonLance games were just re-released on STEAM, and they are arguably the best of the orignal CRPG games (pre-Dragon Age).

Dragon Age Inquisition is fantastic, played through it twice. Get the deluxe edition and play the DLC’s in the proper order.

This right here. Dead company with awful management, but they really put out a real gem with this game. Only game I Platinumed on PS3. Expansions are also great. Quite addictive and combat shines bright.
