I like SMF because I swap back n forth with Prot often and can use the same weapon(s).
Though I’d prefer if they gave Prot a titan’s grip option for 2h/shield.

1h Fury warrior is the closest thing wow has to a “dervish” class. This role once could have been assigned to combat rogue, but blizzard screwed that. Giant 2h weapons just feel out of place on an elf.
Monks automatically adjust stats depending on whether they are dual wielding or not. (Except MW.) They don’t have to change talents for it either. SMF should get this treatment.
Then all it would take to be equal is a weapon stat modifier equal to the difference. Then it would truly be a choice based upon visuals.
ALTERNATIVELY
The “titan grip” ability should allow for 1-hand mogs to be applied to 2-hand weapons.
I do wish I could apply certain looks to my Warr.
Should i remind you that that spec got replaced by a freaking RNG ridden pirate?
Combat is deeply missed.
Automatically adjust stats? what?
like two hander usually have double the amount than onehander…
so there wouldn’t be a need to adjust anything
just to add to the SMF discussion. I feel TG vs SMF should be a choice you would make at the top of the talent tree.
Honestly TG should be something specced into.
That 1-3% difference was often down to one or the other having better weapons available, so yes they were balanced. If you are going to whine about a 1% difference you should be up in arms about how much better Tauren and Dwarves are for a multitude of classes.
The limited racial selection for druids is related mostly to art and lore, which has absolutely zero to do with class balance. If you think adding a damage modifier for 1h weapons is remotely close to a similar amount of work as creating all new forms and coming up with lore justifications and possible new content for new druid races you are severely mistaken.
I just wanna use my brass knuckles and beat the snot out of kobolds.
