Since when did liking difficult content make me a try hard?

Why are all the people against nerfs being vilified for being sweaty tryhards?
It’s fun to clear difficult content. It’s fun to overcome difficulty with friends.

Lets fast forward to the future where when you walk into the raids, the bosses are already dead and the loot is in a chest for you.

It’s just people lashing out because they don’t want a logical discussion and they resort to insults.

It doesn’t. Content SHOULD be hard. People who want easy content should stay on Retail, because Classic was SUPPOSED to be free of nerfs and the probably-upcoming LFG/LFR trash.

It’s just cool to hate anything now a days. Ask for nerfs, get called a noob and told to go back to retail. Ask for content to remain difficult until the next raid release (normally what happens), get vilified for being a try hard even though this is how it is normally done. People are just hungry for hate. They just want other people to feel dumb or weak. It’s a weird atmosphere society has grown into. I don’t like it.

This for real?

You think tbc has harder content than retail?

I think they meant more like LFR content. It’s easy enough that you can queue in with 24 other random terribads and clear content.

I agree with you. But people don’t want to spend the extra time. Even the super sweats did nothing but scrape web pages from 15 years ago to theory craft lol.

But the gaming demographic has changed. We’re all 15 years older and our tolerance for time has also changed. Classic is a game that you have to put less effort into “beating the game” compared to say Retail raiding at the highest levels.

Content in WoW almost always gets nerfed. Sweatlords should be quiet and enjoy succeeding bedore the nerf.

If the tryhard metasheep who are crying now couldn’t clear content before the nerf, then they should have tried harder.

He has made this claim on multiple threads now. He’s either confused or obtuse.

They almost never nerf mid patch. They nerf the current content when new content is released. The “casuals” still had another month or so to finish it before the next release. But no, you all want their participation loot BEFORE next patch. Rather not actually get good at the game. Just nerf if and gib lewtz! Maybe players that just suck should stay quiet? Us sweatlords casually clearing each raid in an hour or so have nothing to do already.

These raids really aren’t hard. Now they are just laughable.

Thanks for the reply.

LFR is obviously a joke but I think the main difference is the queueing in with 24 other randoms, being instantly teleported into the raid, and only facing 1-3 bosses.

I think a lot of tbc content is the same difficulty as retail LFR but you don’t get to just queue up with randoms. You have to find 24 other people willing to be online at the same time for about 3 hours.

Not all tbc content, but most

Who is villified for liking hard content? Only people I see being villified are people who looked down on people for not being 10/10 or who worked insults into their statements about their preferences.

There is a difference between saying “I prefer Jelly over Jam” and saying “I prefer Jelly and anyone who likes Jam is a short busser” Hint: in that situation the people are not reacting to your preference for Jelly.

I’ve seen the words “try hards” and “sweats” multiple times, or different variations of them.

And was that in a vacuum, or in response to other comments made in the same thread?

Probably because alot of people didn’t want pre-nerf Vashj/KT, and because they didn’t want that they were ridiculed endlessly by people. So it’s literally just the 180 degree turn now.

The nerfs are in. People who don’t like it are whining, and getting treated the same way people who never wanted pre-nerf encounters to begin with were being treated all the way up until now.

Reap what you sow, in my opinion.

People wanna be rude and obnoxious to people who didn’t want to deal with the obviously obnoxious version that not even blizzard kept around long, expect those same people to dish it back when you complain and whine about things not going your way.

Honestly never should have made things pre-nerf IMHO. Should have left it at the 2.4 version that TBCC was suppose to be emulating.

Excuse me? I live in a blower, tyvm.

the reality is that classic appealed to dads who want to chill with the boys in disc, not be challenged. Blizz is trying to please both crowds. We got 3 months of pre-nerf t5 which honestly is enough for me
