Can we please give Paladin’s a taunt and Hunter pets a 90% damage reduction to a boss’ AoE?
Thank you,

Where did you see them going the Classic Plus route?
don’t even bother going there lol. any time there’s ANY sort of change / adjustment to the game, no matter how major or minor, people go straight to saying “since we now have classic+ can we get X and Y now”.
Every. single. time.
i mean, if they’re going to make QoL adjustments for no valid reason compared to vanilla anyway, why not add in QoL changes so that a character build is viable? Throw in Hand of Reckoning for paladins. They still have to manage their mana constantly but at least they’ll have a ST taunt
Ur asking for a new ability to a class I could see relic introduced to give a previous ability a taunt. Then you choose between relics.
But a class change nah. Itemization sure.
Yea nah, we don’t want ret pallies. Leave them in retail where they belong. If you’re playing a ret pally you should either respec or roll a warrior.
Ret is a selfish af spec.
Because that’s not a “quality of life” change. That’s a class balance change.
Whole thread is disgusting.
Uhm why? can you explain?
laughs in all my freaking blessings
Lol this guy got embarrassed by a ret paladin at some point
Already discussed how they could give Paladins taunt and not give us a new ability.
Righteous Fury, when active, makes Judgement of a seal taunt the target. If you look at the CD on Judgement it’s default is 10 seconds and talented to 8 seconds.
…don’t those times sound/look familiar?
I realize this now gives Alliance 3 tanks, and I suspect that was why Paladin and Shaman lost their Faction-specific roles; it was too difficult to redesign Shaman into a tank to match Paladin as a tank.
So, naturally, I’ll do it for them.
While Rockbitter is active, Earth Shock will not Taunt; shocks are also 10 second cooldown and talented to 8 seconds.
Optional: Devotion Aura and Guardian Totems talents would now only benefit the player deploying them. “Why?” You ask? Simple, because why take a Shaman/Paladin tank over a Warrior/Druid tank when their improved ‘damage reduction’ abilities don’t work to bring them ‘on par’ with Warrior/Druid tanks.
Mana issues would also be worked on…
Shaman: Ancestral Knowledge, while Rockbitter is active, now refunds a percentage of mana used for Earth Shock and Lightning Shield (figure LS is probably a good source of threat if kept up)
Paladin: Holy Shield, while RF is active, when HS is triggered fills the Paladin with the Light; restoring X-percentage of base mana.
((Note: The above talents would still have their default functions as they do now, but additional modifiers applied when certain conditions are met.))
As for the hunter pets (and presumably lock pets). I’m not super opposed to it, just because I think there’s some fights where pet-deaths trigger boss mechanics (like Kazzak when a ‘target dies’). But I am absolutely opposed to it being any AOE. If it’s just NPCs, that’s fine. But if it’s expanded to include Player aoe. HARD NOPE!
gotta have barbershop and transmog.
But I as a holy paladin also bring all those blessings an more. so what you bring is 10% holy dmg, which is useless
Definitely.
One hopes they stop at Wrath (but I doubt they will).
If they do, we’ll never be able to customize the look of our characters’ armor unless we objectively gimp them (like I really like T2 Paladin; T10…not so much).
Warlock too plz
No. Better luck next year happy.
QoL changes? Can we make Balance Druid a bit more mana efficient? I don’t want their damaged buffed or anything, just to not go OOM in a PvE setting. Heck, even if Blizz only made Starfire cost less mana I’d be happy (since that’s our primary spell we use). It won’t happen but a druid can dream…
Sure are a lot of folks here who don’t know what quality of life means.
It’s a fair critique. Classic should be as close to the Vanilla experience as possible within the scope of WoW’s modern server architecture and game engine.
