Maybe I’m crazy, but it seem like it’s fairly easy to solve the “queue syncing” exploit that allows pre-mades to circumvent the and faceroll everyone else constantly.
Just put in a 15 minute deserter debuff for leaving the BG queue also. Not just the BG, the queue for the BG.
This would still allow groups of 5 friends to play together. It would even allow the occasional pre-made to slip through.
But it would stop the immediate group re-queues needed to make the queue syncing work on the scale it’s constantly being used it.
Please, Blizzard, consider implementing this to make BG usable again.
most people quit after losing the first team fight. pvp communities are just an easy target to blame when its the player who /afk’s fault for not wanting to put out any effort other than their pve rotations in the first fight.
I say again, let us queue a raid in. It would solve almost all of the dropped queues issue (no one wants to be around the unmentionables still, so that will not resolve). Give the pugs who fill in empty slots bonus honor and conquest for doing so. Perhaps give them an opt in option. Premade vs premade matches are the most fun of all. Premades are also less likely to leave after losing the SR or ROC clash. Anyhow, this has been covered extensively over on the battleground forums and many ideas have been suggested.
I think the only solution I’ve seen suggested would be for the players to be randomized in queue so both teams are approximately equal. Which would mean cross-faction teams. Queue sync would just disappear if members of your parties were going to end up playing against each other.
Just easier to make it so you can only solo queue for pvp. Far less obstructive and ive never hear of people queuing as a group beyond abusing the premade system.
