Silvermoon city… (and all of blood elf zones)

Lol, what?

A bridge is completely the same to a whole city being completely redone with flying for sure. The trees, the area all still look very Cata.

What people are talking about is Silvermoon being redone. You compare it to areas that were destroyed. With not much in the area changing. Actually for the worse. Then saying people don’t want that because of the areas you compared it to that do not compare at all to what people are requesting.

People are not asking for Silvermoon to be destroyed. It was already. People are asking for it to finally be repaired, something reflected in lore in books but not in the game and flying added.

That doesn’t compare to the Nelf city being burned down and Undercity being blighted. And no one bridge does not compare to the whole area still looking dated, just destroyed.

Kindly don’t put words into my mouth. Re-read what I typed.

Blizzard revamping zones does not often work out well for the zones getting revamped. Case in point, Night Elf and Forsaken zones.

No more than Night Elf and Forsaken fans asked for their zones to be destroyed.

You seem to be missing my original point. People can clamor for updated zones to their heart’s content with dreams of seeing improvements, high def updates, new quests and storylines with happy endings and peaceful overtones.

Its not in line with what Blizzard has done when updated zones at all to date is my point. So, yes, feel free to ask for an updated zone. If precedent is anything to go by, Blizzard will nuke Silvermoon and turn the rest of the Quel’Thalas zones into a nuclear fallout wasteland.

Except like I said, it was not a revamp. It was a destruction.

Didn’t say they did.

There isn’t precedent, because what you are comparing it to is war torn ruined zones, which isn’t being requested.

If they wanted to do that, they’d do that without player request. Request doesn’t make that anymore or any less likely.

Let’s start by defining, ‘revamp.’

From what I’ve seen on this forum, the common consensus on this word’s definition would be, 'updating graphically and narratively to fit the present of the game world’s timelime."

You seem to have a different definition in mind to that. Thus zones like Darkshore, Tirisfal, Silithus, Arathi, etc… weren’t, ‘revamped.’ So, what were they?

The common consensus of this topic is improving the look of the city and adding flying.

A revamp would have a lot more to it than just destroying everything and leaving it as is. Except for the token bridge. Thank god that saved everything and made it suddenly a revamp, lol. I’m sure all the Nelves will have fun living there.

We can! That Alleria was followed was her problem.

Though Silvermoon should remain Belf city. Too red and cute and Helf like! No no no.

No you cannot be near the sunwell. Blizz made that apparent. That’s why Velves couldn’t come live with us. But they can and should have their own city.

And if Blizz did like they did with Suramar, they could make it something great.

We can’t live with the Blood Elves because Lorthemar and the other Elf mage with 0 late relevance were scared of the void like a lady of a mouse.

But Silvermoon turned into Suramar style would be absolutely sublime.

Well after the well was destroyed before and used to have the Legion enter, I don’t blame them.

I don’t blame them either.

If the Sunwell explodes, the Blood Elf Shadow Priests, Warlocks and Demon Hunters that make pilgrimage there would starve again.

I don’t think they need pilgrimmage. I think for them their other powers sustain them.

Know that if the Sunwell collapses again one day, I have enough void mountain dew to spare for you!

I’d rather be able to feed off of rage.

Sorry if this has been said already, but the whole Silvermoon thing is a chicken and egg situation. They don’t update it because outside of RP no one goes there really, but no one outside of RP’ers go there because it isn’t updated.

That said, I would like to see it updated, but unless Blizz can find a way to justify the resources, won’t happen.

You can be more enraged with the Void. When they whisper you stuff like “Hey, this Orc said you’re ugly” or things like that. :+1:

Doesn’t feed into the right aesthetic for me.

I’d rather they spend time working on new content than revamping old zones nobody ever goes to.
