Hardly. As I’ve stated multiple times he said they claim they were punished all the time. Whether they’d be lying or not is irrelevant. He’s lying about them saying it.
You was shown Blue statements on the fact, and you don’t believe them, what makes a bunch of players are gonna be more informed than the employees. You already said you was gonna discount it anyways, so why bother?

I’m not arguing whether it happens or not. I’m arguing what he said, that people complain about it happening to them all the time. Something which is clearly false.
Pretty sure due to the turn around, it seems to go something along the lines of “well, this person keeps getting reported for trolling. I guess he’s still trolling. Silence upheld due to previous infractions” no matter how inoffensive the post is.
That’s basically what I got from my last appeal: “After reviewing the account’s record of forum violations we have determined that the appropriate actions were taken” after being falsely reported for a real life threat
This was posted on the CS forums about 15minutes ago.

I have been silenced so many times in this game that I don’t even bother typing anymore lol. This is one of the main reasons I cancelled all 3 of my subs. I cant even tell you why I am silenced in game atm, I really couldn’t tell you, that is not exaggeration.

if i link to a post where a player is discussing actions taken against them, it’s going to get reported pretty fast.

No it’s not. It’s an excuse. The person posting could be punished but not him.
POV: you’re looking at the new forum outrage. people who can’t communicate shouldn’t be pugging, pugging is something that requires improvisation at times because pugs are unpredictable because some people suck at the game.

I’m not too worried about in game. I’ve never received a silence ingame (to my knowledge).
Thank goodness forum silences don’t apply to ingame though, because if you’re even slightly fun with words (things you could likely say at work still) you can get silenced here.
I’m not sure if it’s because of time constraints, upsetti spaghettis, or just because the guidelines are ridiculously vague or open to interpretation (basically if your words are fine, your tone might get you in trouble)
i don’t mind linking to blue posts, posts in CS, or even linking off-site, but linking to player posts is just asking for all the itchy fingers in this thread to fire up.
this thread within itself is borderline against the CoC.
Vrak already pulled one of the “silence” threads over to CS, but the people who are being dramatic here won’t head over there, because they don’t want to hear anything which doesn’t fit their narrative.
it’s almost as if cross-linking is punishable!
