It’s weird to think people can adjust? I don’t think that’s weird. People adjust all the time. Normal mode isn’t difficult. I went through normal Nathria this week, it wasn’t bad at all. If people make an effort, they will easily grab slime cat.
All the effort in the world will not change the time commitment
Hey no point. Bye no point.
The link I showed you shows that LFR was not part of the fated reward system.
Already linked to you.
Again not starting as fated. All I said about intended was slimecat not being intended for LFR. That’s backed by Blizz fixing the achievement.
It was changed days before the season went live not hours. Stop lying.
Actually it does.
A technical error isn’t putting an achievement in the game and having people talk about it for months without making adjustments to it, only to 5 days before the content is accessible slip in “no you can’t do the thing you thought you could” into a random thread and then ninja hotfix a wording fix into the game 12 hours before the content goes live with no explanation or notice.
Actually it doesn’t.
Anyone that thinks they can do anything and are entitled to be free of criticism is smoking some grape skooma
They listed the rewards for fated raids back in April.
No where does it say that LFR was awarding the mount. It was an assumption that it was based on an error on the achievement.
I’mma be honest, I said the same thing. And I have been consistent in that I think that technical error should have resulted in slime cat being in LFR because of the amount of time it had said all difficulties, and I can understand why people feel like it should have been in LFR.
I’m also a realist though. The change would have happened if it was going to. It’s not. Which means we adjust. Continuing to complain about something which is obviously not going to change does nothing other than make people more miserable.
Misery loves company my man.
We have nothing else to do until dragonflight, might as well let our disdain be known.
Mhm. And for all the time you spend posting on the forums complaining about something which won’t change, you could put that time into working on getting it done. I cleared seven bosses on normal mode in an hour and fifteen minutes. Find a group, go in, and you’ll get it done without much of a time commitment and if the group looks like it’s going to be bad, leave and find a better one.
You have control over the situation. Nobody else.
Who was it, in one of these threads, linking some dev/CM commenter earlier on who said something along the lines of, “We’re not sure if LFR will be fated or not yet, but if it is, it would make sense you could get the slime cat achievement from LFR”? Can we get that link back in here, so people can stop saying this was strictly some player-made assumption?
Quick edit to add: I don’t actually care. I’m running normal/heroic with a guild group. But facts matter, etc.
I’m going to be honest I only read the first sentence where they said Blizzard couldn’t change anything… Whoops
Yes people can criticize but that doesn’t mean anything is going to change
Now this is absolutely correct
We can just blame it on the fact that it’s Monday lol
Which is why I added this
But I guess you didn’t even read down that far.
Yes, you can criticize all you want, for all the good you think it will do, which the majority of the time it doesn’t change a thing.
And for those of that aren’t 272 item level with 10/11 heroic cleared, that hour fifteen will be sitting in oribos waiting to get into a group
Finding a group is the time commitment
Wrong. Blizzard does.
They can rectify this whenever they choose.
Literally fully cleared normal Friday night on my 248 warlock.
Not if you put some minuscule effort into.
They aren’t going to change anything. If you want the mount you’re going to have to earn it
Blaming Blizzard for you not taking the time to find a group, go in, and accomplish something does not work.
This could have been rectified. They have chosen not to. Complaining will not fix it. Thus, you should adjust and get it done.
They said the same thing about classic and here we are.
Until they change it or they ban me I’ll be making my voice heard.
It absolutely does, they created this situation to begin with
That doesn’t acknowledge the time commitment.
Do explain
Assuming you have enough care left to stick it out. If you’ve run out of good will, though, I’d say moving on to other games would be a better time investment.
Or even into other activities, like arts, sciences or sports; things that can occupy the time once spent gaming.
