What would you call this completely unnecessary addition to your post?
Please read my post that you just quoted and replied to. If you don’t understand my post… well, I’m not sure what to say, since I think it’s pretty clear.
Blizzard didn’t do anything wrong though.
The achievement and rated raids were on ptr. The achievement said any because originally LFR was not going to be fated. When they added LFR to fated raids they forgot to adjust the achievement.
LFR was never getting the slimecat.
Really? I didn’t even know that.
How strange. Any idea why they DID add fated to LFR?
Or a source stating this?
What basis do you have to call LFR not raiding? Raid is literally in the title.
When they added fated to LFR they should have included it. Period.
Understandably lots of folks want the mount but can’t manage to do normal. I’m sure Blizzard is well aware of that. What I don’t understand is why they didn’t give an alternative “grind” means to get it.
LFR’s moot since it’s fairly brain dead. Why not make it a resource grind of some sorts as an alternative?
Maybe I’m insane, but I don’t think explanation and apology are entirely interchangeable.
I’m also not convinced that anything someone unaffiliated with blizzard says - what sense it may or may not have regardless - could stand as anything more than conjecture on the subject.
And the content, however loathe some are to acknowledge it.
From my understanding. Since LFR tends to be a place for people who aren’t the best at the game the idea of adding harder content to it was thought to not be a good idea.
Ddzz said one of the lead devs on the patch confirmed that but I have no confirmed source for that.
However it’s the only explanation that makes actual sense aside from someone making a massive error on the achievement.
My guess is for the higher ilvl for solo players.
As of 4/27 there’s zero mention of LFR being a part of fated raids. At the very least it shows that LFR was never getting the slimecat mount as a reward and that the achievement was an accident.
It’s not considered raiding by people that actually raid.
No they shouldn’t have.
Here’s what I’m pretty sure the reply would be: “we see all your feedback on this, but the slimecat was always intended to be normal+, and it saying all difficulties on the PTR was an error we didn’t catch until after 9.2.5 went live (our bad)”.
They did catch it before the fated raids went live
because they know after 2 weeks people will move on and the topic will die
Why does that matter to Blizzard.
Looking for raid is literally raiding. That’s objective truth.
It may be braindead easy, but calling it not raiding is just false.
You are part of a raid group, in a raid instance, killing raid bosses, for raid loot.
Blizz bases reward due to difficulty.
Maybe in title only. Please read what I actually said. It’s not “considered” raiding by people that actually raid.
Its not considered raiding by people that actually raid.
Wrong. You’re part of a Que group.
What elitests who like to look down on people think is irrelevant.
And what is that group called? And even if you ignore that (which you shouldn’t), you’re still meeting every other criteria.
You can look down all you want, but you’re just denying facts.
I’m not looking down on anyone. If you haven’t actually raided at a higher level you wouldn’t understand the difference.
Again since you clearly are unable to read. I never said it’s not raiding. I clearly specified it’s not CONSIDERED actual raiding.
I used capitalization in the hope that explaining this the third time would help.
I’m aware of the differences.
What you and your other snobs consider raiding is irrelevant.
It’s objectively raiding. You’re just trying to look down on other players.
What you linked does not state that in the slightest, it mentions the achievements, which said “any”, LFR was not excluded.
I highly doubt that.
I find it hilarious that you’re complaining about people looking down on someone and then throwing insults. What a hypocrite.
It’s training wheel raiding for anyone that has a pulse. Whether you like it or not it’s not considered raiding by people that actually raid. I’m sorry you’re getting so angry over an opinion.
