Which is not okay. A person who loves raiding with an established guild should be able to rely solely on raiding for their gear. They shouldn’t have to pvp or do M+ if they don’t want to.
I don’t mind raiding and doing m+ personally but it’s becoming more of a job to stay current, rather than something to do on your leisure time.
Doing 20 plus hours a week to be competitively geared is a bit much… especially with gearing expectations for content. But then again… gear doesn’t mean skill.
It’s exhausting listening to players talk like they’re barely squeeking by on boss kills and as if suddenly one piece of gear for them specifically would change the entire outcome of the raid and the boss would suddenly die 3 minutes faster compared to the guy in the same group in the same guild having gotten a piece of loot. It’s like you guys don’t even try to hide how selfish you are at this point when it comes to being a part of a group.
I’ve been around far longer than you have. I know how the gearing game goes by now, so spare me your “I’m holier than thou” BS, thanks. You can’t offer a counter argument so you attack my profile. You know as well as I do that one piece of gear doesn’t magically tip the scales so dramatically that you go from barely making a kill to suddenly massacring a boss, and with that item ironically enough in your hands. Now if it were the case, no matter who had it the tables would turn. You’re greedy, plain and simple.
u been here since beta of vanilla?
wow thats agreat i guess what does that have to do with you not knowing how the game works at high levels of play tho?
classic mechanically is a joke compare to modern wow so
So you’re telling me that if you suddenly got a set of shoulders a few ilvl higher than you do now that you’d crush a boss your guild barely killed? Really? That is your argument? Whether it was this way from Rag to Patchwerk, to Kael, to Arthas. One piece of gear on one class doesn’t suddenly change the encounter so damned dramatically that it is blocking you from going further. If you can barely kill the previous boss, you aren’t suddenly dominating the next because Thiccgal got a new set of shoulders. Stop being obtuse.
I feel ya… killed the world boss 7 times on 1 toon and 4 times on another… not one drop. Out of 9 mythics & mythic+ runs I’ve only had 1 piece of gear drop. The rest from the weekly vault… Loot in this expansion if trash. Blizz already said they know it’s a problem but no fixes implemented.
i mean some of the dps trinkets are legit 5percent dps increase for some classes
so yea when things like that exist your statement is wrong
and its a pile of things not just 1 set of shoulders your just picking a strawman and have no idea what its like to experience high level of play in modern wow so its a waste of time for us to argue
If you think a 5% increase is going to take a kill from “barely making it” to “absolutely dominating it” you’re more delusional than I thought. And even if that were the case, it being in the hands of another dps still gives the same result. A 5% dps increase. Just not in your hands which is your problem, it isn’t in your hands.
If that’s the best you’ve got, then it’s the best you’ve got. I mean I still have a leg up on you for not having the stones to post on your superior main.
