I’ll be honest I’m not super confident in how the token system works, but my understanding is that it is a transfer of gold between players, meaning person A buys a token with real monies from blizzard, and sells that token on the AH to another person. The cost of the token in gold can move up or down depending on demand , but the gold is still staying in the game with how it works on retail.
If that’s not how it works I’m open to learning, but I stand by my opinion that wow classic actually needs better and larger gold sinks, not just a way to pay blizzard for gold instead of RMT farmers.
