Either thier argument makes sense or it doesnt.
Someone’s argument doesnt magically get better if they hit Gladiator.

Some of the absolute worst ideas (like mythic gear on the cash shop) come from some very highly credentialed players.
Took me a minute to realize there is so much BS and trolling on forums. If you are passionate about a topic then be Teflon because some will mess with you. Knowing that, who cares, just call them a dumbassss in your mind and move on.
Some tall people are remarkably small men.
Rightfully so, though. Obviously an extreme example is that if someone was arguing that high level keys don’t have enough abilities that require interrupts while posting from an account with KSC, that opinion should be dismissed.
Honestly I don’t think that information matters really, at least, it doesn’t to me.
Id much rather it show the amount of times the user has reported someone.
Wouldn’t show us anything very new, just confirm what we already know about some posters lol
I still use Fuzz even though I barely play her anymore.
Idk fuzz is just… fuzz lol
It is 100% possible to kill the first three mythic bosses on Nerubar Palace without add ons. (It would be very challenging without DBM timers but it is possible and you can 100% do the first three bosses with zero weak auras).
You kind of start needing weak auras for Rashanan.
didnt say otherwise but there are bosses in there that lets be generous and call them extremely difficult without addons and anyone who says otherwise i would like to see a video of their guild doing it without addons.
My first thought was… do we need extra clutter making things feel like an information overload? I wouldn’t be against this if you could choose if you wanted to see it or not.
I wouldn’t mind seeing max prog on account, such as M+/PVP rating/raid prog but then I’d love to see other things as well:
titles collected
mounts collected
pets collected
I might be posting on a level 10 forum alt, but I also show that I have some achievement points, so that people won’t be like “not another random alt.”
I don’t disagree, there are just certain bosses that literally cannot be defeated without a huge suite of weak auras - mythic Smolderon, for example.
I would even say Mythic Igira is not possible without weak auras telling each person where to go with the circle (don’t really have enough time for humans to react and decide which place for every circle). And Igira was the second boss in Amirdrassil (it just got worse after that - except for the third worm boss which could be done with zero add ons)
the person i was replying to basically was talking about it was a skill issue if you cant complete raids without addons. they also completely lied about their mythic experience having from what i can tell never having stepped foot in mythic raid.
Why reserve it for your mind?
I just don’t understand that this would accomplish. People are going to lie, if they are posting and things don’t add up check their profile. If the profile is hidden just assume they are lying, stop posting to them and move on. Having progression listed just give a false sense of security. We live in a world were progression can be paid for so having it listed does not mean much in that light.
No, it’d make it worse.
The WoW community likes to point fingers and tend to associate social standing with progress. Creating an obvious tell for this just opens the door for jerks to be bigger jerks thanks to all the information/excuses they need to be given at a glance.
… WoW’s been kind of downhill since the GearScore add-on in WotLK, to tell the truth.
I’ve had people doubt my claims over and over in a thread about simple time walking content. To the point that I had to post a screen shot three times in the same thread to “defend” myself against the mis-information others were spreading.
You either know what you’re talking about or you don’t. Your “progression” doesn’t actually mean you have a clue as to what is happening in all content either… many of the people doubting my claims in that thread… “should” have known better or were just out right trollin.
How about total timed played instead. People play different ways in this game.
It’s really not needed, we can check people already and point out when they’re lying.
(And people lie on this forum a lot, and get called out, as they should.)
I could go into the PvP forum and start lecturing everyone about arena. I could. But I’m glad they could also easily check and point out that I don’t even do arena and my opinion is worthless.
How about a special forum just for Elitists to hang out on.
How about a special forum just for the people who lie all the time.
