Should Raid Titles be FOMO?

The HoF titles are bizarre. If you get it, but change guilds, you lose it. But if you had CE and join a guild that was in HoF, you now have access to the title, even though you didn’t before.

No idea what Blizz was thinking, on that one.

Let’s be honest. Do they ever think at all?

oh that is odd, i had no idea

FOMO is a term made by people who can’t do a thing until it becomes trivialized.

much like irony, I just have to accept that people misuse this term and “toxic” all the time in these forums.

Nothing should be.

Why would they even play rather than requesting a refund?

Most don’t even install the game, but some do just for the laughs.

Man… now you’re going to make me do that stupid renown. I HATE the cavern.

I can’t wait till it’s no longer obtainable so I can feel better about my smelly self.

No. FOMO is ambrosia for people who secretly want the game to die off.

pretty sure it’s already a function of the stock UI.

I don’t mind some of the FOMO titles. Since there a ton of titles to choose from anyway.

There is no value in pixels, even less so for words in a game such as a title.

FOMO is bad but hey if you want the game to remain dead, by all means, encourage more of the pretend scarcity that has caused people to quit lol.

Everything should be FOMO, no better way to piss people off.

You having the title is of value to you. Me having the title is of value to me. What we value has no bearing on what others value, so making a title rare doesn’t increase it’s value, quite the opposite in fact. The value of the title is that it keeps players playing the game.
