I do multibox sometimes to level toons. But i do agree with those who are not happy with it as it has its cons. What do you guys think?

It’s only banned on private servers because the accounts are free. And if it wasn’t a bannable offense, everyone would effectively be forced to multibix just to be able to level safely.
Multiboxing is a valid alternative play style. It has always been allowed, it should always be allowed.

I don’t have any problem with multiboxing, the only issue I would have would be what blizzard is doing about addons in classic. I pearsonly don’t care to much for third party software and just manually play two account at once, but their are players out their who change code and implement software that could harm the classic experience. On that note I think there is some rome for concern, but for the most part I have nothing against a player using five shamans to oneshot me. I will even welcome the challenge with open arms.

It should be allowed just because it was back then, but that doesn’t change the fact that multiboxing is cancerous. If there’s a multiboxer on your server make sure you form groups to camp them because they will ruin your server’s economy.

i would guess that /follow will be broken in bgs for classic since its an anti botting measure. blizzard even said thats why they made that change
Multiboxing has always been allowed in retail WoW, simply due to the fact that you’re paying a subscription for each account. It’s only ever been against the TOS for private servers.
So its ok in your opinion to have 3 toons in a BG casting the same spell at the same time aginst you? I know its allowed but its a joke when its used for anything except solo leveling.

I don’t PvP, so that doesn’t affect me. However, yes… I think it’s fine. Just make a PvP solution. Get friends and kill them. If you try to 1v3 a group of 3 players coordinating on a voice chat, they’re still going to roll you.
If you have a PvP problem, make a PvP solution. Isn’t that what PvP stalwarts are always saying?

I get your point but , imo its a joke to have that much killing power with one key stroke , not 3 different people trying to do same thing , not the same never will be.

Regardless of my personal opinions on multiboxing. It has always been allowed in WoW. And so it should be allowed in Classic.
If Blizzard decides to change the rules for the modern game that’s a different subject.
One difference though, unless they’re a really good multi-boxer, one fear bomb will wipe them out.
A team of 3 separate players would take much less time to recover.
On top of that, it seems to make PvP players rage, so that makes it that much more entertaining.
