Feel like a magic dispel rune should be added to the healer kit for mage.
Fits with the theme of the class considering they are masters of magic
They are the only healer with 1 dispel.
Horde get cucked into always running priests
You can remove curses, something priests and shamans cannot do. What more do you want?

I actually think dispel magic fits class lore better with a mage than a priest. Thats just me though.

Just give them Spellsteal as a rune
If you have every single ‘mage healer’ rune picked then you can have magic dispel.

100% no, absolutely not. unless they disable it in pvp
That spell was hands down the biggest mistake blizzard ever put in pvp, and I will die on that hill. Then they made it worse when they decided kleptomania needed to be a thing also.

Same could be said about any magical dispel for PvP, Priest/Paladin dispels single-handedly ruined WotLK Arena… the main culprit was allowing them to be spammable which it wasn’t in TBC. You became OoM quick.

comparing spellsteal to dispel is like comparing an apple to a prius.
Removing the buff vs stealing the buff is not even remotely the same power level.
Paladin wings for example, you could not push that button if a mage existed because now the mage has the damage boost.
That druid HoT, oh instead of healing the injured target its now healing the mage.
Dispel and spellsteal are so wildly different in power levels they cant even be compared in that regard.

They considered it since there’s a datamined spell for mages that can do a defensive dispel. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a spellsteal rune for offensive dispel later.
Not sure if they decided against it or if it’s just coming later.
I think it would have made sense to change regeneration into a rune more like the tank runes that change multiple abilities so only healer mages got multiple changes, including getting regen, a res and a magic dispel. 
If you are serious in saying Spellsteal was better than Priest and Paladin dispel I don’t know what to tell you lol
As an offensive dispel, yes its not even in the same league.

That is just wrong, Priest dispel dominates spellsteal in every possible way and its not even close.
Care to enlighten me how simply removing the buff is vastly superior to stealing it?

Spell Steal was something Mages never needed (specifically for PVP).

Because it removes 2… Spellsteal is only good when the enemy doesn’t know how to rebuff and for openers. For Priest it doesn’t matter, you will get cleaned if you like it or not.
Bad analogy, or at least incomplete. You talking an iphone, iwatch, mac pc? I mean on the whole comparing the entire apple company against one offering from toyota is kinda not fair but im not sure you meant to do that. Id clarify which apple product you’d put up against the prius.
