Should have rolled back day 1

No one cares about your short term gratification.

Can’t roll back what’s already spent
And can’t rollback whatever items was bought

While intentional or not nobody broke any rules with this “exploit”
Ergo you cannot punish anyone

You just gotta live with you not getting to it earlier

Its honestly terrible. Not having a PTR is really showing how much these developers rely on player feedback… they must be extremely tone deaf and out of touch with the player base to feel that Incursions would be what we wanted…

Rofl. Comparing an exploit that got nerfed within hours to a class nerf that takes weeks.

Seriously if you are not going to be serious go away troll.

We get it you exploited it and got away with it now you are mad cause people that won’t exploit a game just to get some gold wants you to get a rewind.

Honestly you should get banned for it.

A rewind is a compromise so you should be happy that’s all anyone said.

The best irony behind it too. Is the fact that all these people exploited it to get first kill on ST. And still failed. ROFLMAO

Exploiting…finding a glitch that should be reported but instead to willingly keep using it to gain an advantage over other players.

Yes you could be rolled back. They saved your account before the update.

You should be banned if you didn’t report it and used it more than once to gain said advantage.

Rolling back would have only created more dislike and anger among the player base towards the devs, it’s blizzard’s fault the exploit was in the game and it’s up to them to remove it, why shouldn’t players take advantage of it? I would if I was able to play that day.

Removing all of it from day one would only create negative reactions, except from the few people on the forum who are calling/called for it.

It would have been a dreadful idea.

Can it rwally be called an exploit when it was intentionally designed to give xp?

You are actually explicitly told via ToS that if you abusing a bug or exploit - knowingly, or unknowingly - that you are required to stop immediately and report it via the big report forums or in-game bug report feature until confirmed it is not bugged.

It’s explicitly noted that bugs, and exploits exist during live-service content, and that it is YOUR responsibility as a player to not abuse them for any reason, or risk losing your account.

There’s no “HoW WoULD i KnOW? U KaEnT pRooooVE it!” grey area here. It’s cut/dry in the TOS - intent is 100% irrelevant - only the action and outcome.

A ton of wow grind addicts in here coping -

Amazes me that in a day and age where Steam pumps out OUTSTANDINGLY positive titles, people are so addicted to their braindead zug zug wow micro dopamine intravenous, that they still think SoD development is even remotely close to being on the positive scale. If SoD had a Steam page it would be massively mixed to negative reviews easily. Bunch of manchildren that never grew up and built self-awareness. Keep on zug zuging, might have wanted to explore other games in the last 20 years, something else other than trash MMORPGs and maybe your eyes would be opened.

Most people that play sod still just want to feel a rush and sense of over-power or control over their economic position by exploiting often and early. I’m sure it helps them cope with their lack of control over real life.

SoD players certainly have proven that an entire population of gamers have Stockholm syndrome for post blizzard - activision/microsoft garbage game development…

Most of the trash they are pushing and decision-making is based on the fact that they are desperately trying to get players to come back and want to cycle another forked branch of the game to add more revenue. They chose to prioritize streamer-favored content rather than the classic+ experience that the community wanted.

Just accept it, the game is trash and people realized it as early as the end of p1 beginning of p2.

By all means, waste your time live beta-testing an unpolished mess and keep giving your sub money for a 20-year-old game with gimmicky updates and near-null class balancing or tuning. WoW players are the most mind-numbingly oblivious gamers I’ve encountered in 20+ years of gaming. I’m embarrassed to tell people I played it so much growing up and went back to playing it for this…

Idk what they put in the code, but i’ve done hardcore drugs and WoW beats every single one of them by a mile.

I’d rather be addicted to WoW than crack !

The 3 letter agencies should study the use of WoW as a stimulant.

It reminds me of new world

None of this would be a problem if they had a PTR but they refuse to do that. Instead we DISCOVER their bugs for them.

It’s almost like all versions of WoW other than retail is welfare. And when that check don’t hit… the working class has to listen to it.

Retail is toilet paper. Classic is McDonald’s napkins. SoD is a McMuffin wrapper with a small triangle of cheese stuck to it.

Dont worry its not just sod, they are going to release cata classic as it is in beta with all the bugs as well. Small indie company has to make those deadlines.

Yall act like you could do better

The time it takes to be fixed is irrelevant, an oversight isn’t an exploit.

The interaction was intended, the amount of good the quest was intentional, later on they realized it was a bit too high and adjusted it.

There was no exploit, you just need to call it that so you can try to call people cheaters.

Even in this thread the premise was the multiplier was too high but that isn’t even want got changed.

I can’t hear you over the almost 1,000 gold I made.

Cuz og classic pallys never one shot bosses with reckoning?
