(hand raise) can you give us an example of competent game development? I’m looking for some metric of game development that I must be missing, according to my game development parses wow is making money and that gives them a check mark over a minus sign.
We arent rolling servers back becasue some people have a few hundred extra gold.

its not “Some people with a few hundred extra gold” it’s THOUSANDS of people with THOUSANDS of extra gold.
There is likely 100x more gold in the economy than there was 2 days ago that has been injected in the most imbalanced way possible.

Can you explain to me how Blizzard developers got worse over that 15 year period as coding resources, libraries, and available tools have exploded making game development easier and more accessible than ever?
Granted, I think it’s the community that was created as a result of streaming, discord, and thousands of people regularly recording their own gameplay which made sharing these exploits to an entire server more viable.

Nothing is tanked, these are just things you imagine.
You don’t need a beta to know making a quest with bonus gold and then giving it 300% more gold with a buff is a bad idea. There’s just no thought behind it.
The excuses people give Blizzard… Stop letting them get away with this lazy work.
