Should a CM be snarky on twitter?

First off, it’s a very manipulative tweet. It’s about context and his statement demonstrates further the fact that they misunderstand actual widespread sentiment vs a few angry trolls.

People were angry that hardworking people that have little to do with actual business/design decisions were fired. Those that are in leadership positions still keep their jobs even after many missteps and pitfalls (for years, since WoD). If the game and the company as a whole is suffering enough to let go hundreds of people, you have to wonder why the people that caused this to happen are not held responsible.

There are very, very few people that go out and say “the whole dev teams needs to be fired!” People are very specific: BfA is not a great expansion - who is taking responsibility? Why are the same designers that made poor choices, repeatedly, still in a position of leadership? This doesn’t fly at normal game studios, why is it allowed on the WoW team?

You hardly ever see much turnover - most of the design leads have been at Blizzard, and only Blizzard, for many years. It really makes you wonder - are they just protecting their old soldiers? Is the echo chamber unbreakable?
