ngl i totally take advantage of the short range to ignore mechanics if someones near by. nymue specifically if it isnt in melee range i dont move for it.
i wouldnt mind this. the 25yd range sucks for dps but having the increased range for healing means i would be willing to invite ranged dps to my keys groups. everyone standing in bfe max range in opposite sides means i have to pick 1 to heal and 1 to let die if something happens to both or even if i have to choose between a range and a melee. if i join a pug i give them a heads up i will not chase them down to heal. if your out of range your not getting healed.

Range should be increased. Every dragon ever has a long range. Give dragons more range.

Why exactly do you think referencing actual dragons is relevant to Dracthyr, which are more akin to winged drakonids?
I’ve been playing my frost mage a lot and i’m just like…damn… I am more mobile than i ever was as an evoker and i can stand wherever i want. Then the cherry on top, if something is ever kited out of my range (lol), or there’s a ground mechanic to run out of, i can just shimmer away without missing a single beat.
Feels bad to go back and be like “oh i get little more than half the range to do stuff in” and “oh i have to stop casting to hover”
