Asked to post here as opposed to the tech support.

Purchased a character service thru the shop. Appears to be stuck as queued. Made plenty of purchases before (same card, etc.) without issues. It’s not hung up waiting for a service to complete, it’s queued waiting for the transaction to go thru, but my CC already shows the purchase. Not a huge deal, but weird since my CC is already showing the transaction.

p.s. I’ve also submitted a ticket (since this was originally posted yesterday.

You will have to wait on the ticket.

If you are referring to the boosts from yesterday, looks like this is still processing.

Is the transaction on the card showing as completed, or pending/awaiting authorisation?

If the latter, it means the funds have been allocated for the purchase, pending receiving the successful transaction report from Blizzard. If that comes back as a fail, those funds get returned to the available balance, the timeframe dependent on the card company/banks policies and processes (usually a few days).

Understood, but the question isn’t what’s the status. The question is why a CC transaction is still processing two days later. You’ve clearly seen the issue isn’t with the card or on my end.,

That’s not really something they can answer. Credit cards can take a while for all sorts of mundane reasons. This is a VERY busy time of year for card transactions and the software running the backend is honestly quite old and outdated. Things can just get bogged down.

There could have been behind the scenes maintaince at your bank that is slowing things. It could very well be the payment processor that Blizzard uses having delays.

It’s unfortunate and I’m sorry it’s not processing for you, but really the only thing is just to wait.
