Okay yeah, I get where you’re coming from. There are a LOT of bad tank players out there only tanking for the fast queue. And it pains me because I know how to play blood in pvp and seeing a bdk not use anything hurts me on the inside. No denying that. But banning the whole role from solo shuffle because bad players is overkill imo. Maybe when we’re 70 and Blizz figured out how Solo Shuffle mmr wants to work then we’ll see less tanks the higher one goes. Just spit balling
The limiting factor will always be healer, the average healer game of 100 healers in queue or 1000 healers in queue should last about the same time. So no, won’t effect queue times.
Only thing that’ll decrease DPS queue times is more healers and less DPS in the ratio.
This generally occurs when it’s two good healers and four rather green dps. I know that I’ve had my healer send me screenshots of games where all the dps are doing like 800-1300 dps 3 minutes into the game.
I get what you were saying, but the only way this will have any impact is if the average healer also increases the number of games they queue into on average which could be happening when DF comes out, but more DPS will probably also do the same.
It would be nice if they had different options for playing arenas, ya know? Like if only there was a mode where you could create your own group to ensure that you didn’t get paired with a tank. But also you wouldn’t be shuffled around and could stay with your friends.
